    When godley’s control is on, he is not a bad pitcher. When his control is off, he is pitiful. The problem is he could be on or off from game to game or inning to inning.

    Desperate Dave ran off all the brightest and best in our baseball operations and analytics department. The only “pencil neck geeks” left are the janitors and security guards. No wonder Roenicke looks and acts like a joke!

    Sounds like hang’em Chaim thinks the Sox can rehabilitate whatever is wrong with pivetta! The important thing to me is that hang’em Chaim has figured out that junk ball pitchers don’t do well in Fenway and has started acquiring power arms after an offseason filled with signing crap ball pitchers. It ‘s amazing how he could spend all those years in our division and not notice the success we have is mostly with power pitchers! Better late than never bloom!

    It’s too bad Martinez is taking the year off. Terrible is not harsh enough to describe Martinez.

    Is hang’em Chaim working the phones? We have some bodies to move in the next 10 days. Pillar can help some team, Moreland can help some team. Evioldi can help some team. Perez can help some team. Palwicki can help some team. Brice, Weber, mazza and hall can pick up trash on the side of the road!

    Thankfully this is roenicke’s last year with us.

    I was impressed with hang’em chaim’s first draft. He did not get us any starting pitching, but I like it! hopefully this virus crap does not screw up next years minor league schedule. Our minor league system is not completely bare, but most of the guys with the highest ceilings are in low a. I like lugo better than cassas, but either way you look at it, the guys with the most upside are years away from contributing and very few of them are pitchers. hang’em Chaim’s claim to legitimacy hinges on his ability to draft and develop starting pitching. He also has to upgrade our minor league coaches and teachers as well as our scouting and cross checker departments. It is a lot of work to do after desperate Dave dropped a nuclear bomb on our baseball operations department and ran off all our best and brightest youngsters.

    Why would Roenicke throw Taylor back out there today? Didn’t he throw yesterday after coming off the dl? What was that guy thinking?

    I thought godley threw the ball much better this time out. He got some strike outs and limited damage.

    Rebuilding a farm system takes time. Keeping a farm system churning out players for the major league team takes excellent scouting and development. Henry writing a check is easy, but comes with consequences down the road. We are going to suck this year. We are probably going to suck less in 2021 and even less in 2022, if hang’em Chaim is legit. 2023, could be the start of something if we do this rebuild right and hang’em Chaim is legit.
