  1. I think hart deserves another start. He throws a decent ball, but control is an issue.
  2. Thankfully this is roenicke’s last year with us.
  3. I was impressed with hang’em chaim’s first draft. He did not get us any starting pitching, but I like it! hopefully this virus crap does not screw up next years minor league schedule. Our minor league system is not completely bare, but most of the guys with the highest ceilings are in low a. I like lugo better than cassas, but either way you look at it, the guys with the most upside are years away from contributing and very few of them are pitchers. hang’em Chaim’s claim to legitimacy hinges on his ability to draft and develop starting pitching. He also has to upgrade our minor league coaches and teachers as well as our scouting and cross checker departments. It is a lot of work to do after desperate Dave dropped a nuclear bomb on our baseball operations department and ran off all our best and brightest youngsters.
  4. Why would Roenicke throw Taylor back out there today? Didn’t he throw yesterday after coming off the dl? What was that guy thinking?
  5. I thought godley threw the ball much better this time out. He got some strike outs and limited damage.
  6. Rebuilding a farm system takes time. Keeping a farm system churning out players for the major league team takes excellent scouting and development. Henry writing a check is easy, but comes with consequences down the road. We are going to suck this year. We are probably going to suck less in 2021 and even less in 2022, if hang’em Chaim is legit. 2023, could be the start of something if we do this rebuild right and hang’em Chaim is legit.
  7. Considering we got them in the Betts trade, we have to treat those three as homegrown,
  8. Henry screwed this up when he abandoned the Cherrington’s plan for the quick strike, yet unsustainable desperate Dave plan. I do not know if hang’em Chaim can evaluate pitching properly or he if is yet another Henry screw up, but regardless, hang’em Chaim has to rebuild the major league team, rebuild the farm system, rebuild the analytics department, rebuild the scouting, drafting and cross checking systems and find a new manager. I expect the next five to ten years, we are rebuilding the right way, provided Henry does not do something stupid and provided hang’em Chaim is legit! But if done the right way, we will have a sustainable championship level product fielded every year thereafter!
  9. 11 different starters thus far. The worst era in baseball. I am hoping hang’em Chaim is working the phones feverishly these next two weeks. Out with the non homegrown Players and in with prospects. Maybe if hang’em Chaim interned at the home shopping network, he could learn how to sell junk at inflated prices and make idiots feel like they got a deal! First call after the internship is over should be cashman! Of course if hang’em Chaim is serious about his current job and wants desperately to be successful, he can also intern at cnn and learn how to smile, while lying to idiots who will believe every lie he tells as gospel! Either way, first call after the internship is over needs to be to cashman!
  10. He could join Roenicke in an extremely low pressure career as a wal Mary greeter!
  11. Baseball is a game of adjustments. Clearly Benintendi needs to adjust to how pitchers are pitching him.
  12. We really need Pittsburgh to start winning more games! They stand between us and rocker!
  13. The streak is over! Roenicke’s super inspiring pre game pep talk did the trick!
  14. For as nauseated as we are now, just keep reminding yourself, every loss gets us closer to kumar rocker in the next draft!
  15. There is no shortcut to building a championship caliber team. 1.) you must a farm system that continuously produces quality major league players. You have to be strong up the middle, have quality pitching and depth, and play quality defense at every position. 2.) you augment that with strategic short term free agents and a occasional major signing. For us, it is s a complete rebuild. First we have to restock the minor league system and this will take a few years. Second, we have to draft and develop starting pitchers. Third, we have to employ the best coaches and teachers throughout the minor league system so our kids develop properly. Thus far, hang’em Chaim has shown me that he can get us where we need to be in everything, except his ability to evaluate starting pitching.
  16. Just go through the list of pitchers he signed this offseason. Outside of Perez and maybe Valdez, have any of them contributed anything?
  17. As I said at the beginning of the season, we can be complete and utter losers, but also get some youngsters some quality time in the big leagues to see if they have anything to offer! I know some people are worried about starting the free agency clock early, but none of our kids are tier 1 prospects! This about seeing if are borderline prospects can contribute in 2021! Hang’em Chaim needs to start trading everything he can, not homegrown, for as many prospects as possible and give the youngsters a chance! Ps: hang’em Chaim obviously sucks at evaluating pitching, so let’s sign an evaluator/pitching scout away from Atlanta or the dodgers, so hang’em Chaim does not draft a bunch of losers resembling the junk he signed this offseason!!!
  18. Yes, hang’em Chaim has zero talent when it comes to scouting pitchers. But Roenicke has made zero right calls this year. Inspires no one. And is about as strategic as roadkill!
  19. For the first time since last season, Dever’s seems to have his swing back! Let’s home it stays for the rest of the season.
  20. Hang’em Chaim’s trade of Betts and price was a purely financial move. And the wrong move! His signing bargain basement dead arms was a purely financial move. And the wrong move! But what is done is done! The next real test is can hang’em Chaim use the trade deadline to improve next year’s team or farm system?
  21. Roenicke could make a fire hydrant look like a good manager.
  22. Roenicke is a complete waste of oxygen!
  23. How is brazier employed by the Red Sox and not employed as a Walmart greeter!
