  1. I am sure his agent is reminding him daily of all the money he is going to get by sitting out the rest of this year! Will he listen to the agent or will his competitive spirit win out?
  2. This year started out disappointing on the pitcher development front with mata and ward needing Tommy John. However, some of the other guys have been very exciting and for the first time in years, I am optimistic that we have some stud starters in the pipeline. 1.) cutter Crawford came back from Tommy John and has looked pretty good! 2.) bello has finally shown he can command the strike zone. His stuff plays well! 3.) winkleman is so exciting to watch. It is way too early to know how he turns out, but right now he looks to have an incredible future as a starter!
  3. I think the pitching coaches deserve both my less than total congratulations for the incredible job they did from April through July! Guys have just run out of gas!
  4. They dude is riding his June performance to a mega deal from some confused GM, if he returns to action this year, he is only taking money from his pocket!
  5. His bat speed has slowed down since may and he is riding on fumes!
  6. What incentive does schwarber have to come back at all this season?
  7. I am declaring Barnes a pumpkin and the time is officially 12:01am!
  8. Perez started out pitching fairly well at the beginning the year, but clearly ran out of gas!
  9. The clock struck midnight and Barnes has turned back into a pumpkin! Somewhere kimbrel is laughing!
  10. Don’t worry…. Nero, aka Hang’em Chaim has a plan to fix this!
  11. Which one has the higher trade value? Or which player best augments a potential trade package this offseason?
  12. Granberg and joe Davis have not stopped hitting since being promoted! I would love to see granberg at triple a this year. His swing is so smooth and he makes lots of contact!
  13. What does Hang’em Chaim see in this Robles guy? What good is throwing hard when you can’t command it?
  14. At what point do the training wheels come off houck?
  15. I thought cassas started out the year hitting just fine. Then he went to the Olympic qualifier, where he still looked good. After he got back from that, however, his swing and timing were all messed up and stayed that way until he went back at the Olympics. The question is which cassas ends the year at Portland?
  16. Neither! Guys that have missed as much time as schwaber will need time to get their timing back. Not sure he will be better than dalbec for the rest of this season.
  17. Martinez bat speed appears slower than in April. He may be running out of juice for these last 60 games.
  18. Does he have access to schwaber’s doctors?
  19. This team is stretched thin. Injuries have forced us to play guys that are not ready/capable of contributing.
  20. But are we still under the cbt?
  21. The schwarber deal makes sense to me. The Chavis deal makes sense to me. The Robles deal makes me want to throw up!
  22. Yes, single a pitcher, on the dl, but has a big arm.
  23. Schwaber for also Ramirez? Interesting.
  24. I agree! In interviews hang’em Chaim has said that any deal is about today and tomorrow. But we do have injuries piling up and depth is being stretched perilously thin at the moment. Does hang’em Chaim make a bad big name short term deal this year, but put the rebuild back a couple years in the hopes we win this year? I do not see him doing it. But I do see a minor deal or two being done.
  25. Maybe a whooping like this will get out guys to focus more going forward.
