    Listen I am ONLY INTERESTED in how much we are sopending 1} in relation to the revenue generated and 2} where we rank in overall MLB team payroll. I don't want to hear about how salaries of our young guys are rising. Are the Sox the ONLY team that has these increases ?? Finally I am really only concerned with how we are upgrading our overall roster regardless of $$ involved but I just don't see it yet. Currently we sit 12th in overall team payroll ??

    not 40 million like we paid Bregman and not 31 million like we paid Devers. Conteras was a far cry from Schwarber and Alonso and cost assets as well but of course he was far cheaper than the other 2. As for Gray his salary is offset by the ouster of Gioloto from the roster. Pretty much a wash..

    i don't want him to go 4. Bregman is all about the money. let him go. You won't hear me cry about not bringing him back. I guess the 40 million we gave him for 2/3 of the 2025 season wasn't enough for him. DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU IN THE A$$ ON THE WAY OUT ALEX !!!

    every year we hear the same crap. "Sox are interested in this guy-Sox are interested in that guy" blah, blah, blah. Fans like me need to come to the realization that JH is not going to sign any more mega-deal long term FA's and that includes Skubal.

    the Dodgers are on a different level now than even the Yankees. Listen I know it is only Jan 1 and there is still lots of time before ST but if the Sox don't add anything more than a Donovan type I will be very vocal. The FA and offseason in MLB is a total joke and just goes on and and on probably in part because off guys like Scott Bora$$. I am on record that I am 100% AGAINST the Sox giving any more than 3 years to Bregman. I would far prefer 5-6 years for Bichette but in all honesty I expect neither. What I do expect is either Bello or 1 of Tolle/Early dealt for a Donovan type.

    if he is DFA'd he will join the growing and long list of other such great "low risk" signings of rehabbing SP. Maybe if new didn't try and waste our $$ on these duds we could afford to spend on a decent FA.

    i don't think we should trade any of our OF. not sure the value they could return is as high as Red Sox fans think they are.

    a number of issues on Duran but i clearly think he is more valuable to keep than he would be to trade.
