    I think we can contend for a W/C too but the Jays have added the past few days and you can never count out TB. I see us finishing 3rd with 83-87 wins - enough to keep RSN from revolting which is all JH cares about.

    he would come cheap on the much liked Red Sox 1 yr deal so consider him a favourite to land back in Boston along with Rich Hill

    i agree it could be someone like Grichuk providing he would accept something like a 1 yr -3 million deal otherwise they will simply sell us on RR as the RH bat

    you make some good points here but i still think real live umps are best for the game

    and what does that ump do--call a close play at the plate once every 5 games. Baseball has survived just fine for over 100 yrs with human umps. Maybe a challenge system on balls and strikes using the k zone with an official upstairs . Each team gets 3 challenges per 9 innings and 1 in extra innings.

    what I don't understand is how the LAD can have the #3 ranked prospect group given both their spending and standings results the previous SEVERAL years?? They must be doing something right besides just spending $$

    i am against robot umpires. I am against AI in general. pretty soon there will be nobody working. Those AI chat phone assistants are useless too.

    If Henry wasn't so DAMN CHEAP we could have simply signed a FA closer rather than the need to trade another of our top prospects for one. Hell I'd just resign Jansen at this point than trade Mayer but of course Jansen is too expensive for Ebenezer Henry
