I’m not saying he’s not hurting, and I guess just hoping it’s his mechanics, and not his shoulder. I know athletes hide injuries, but until I hear that’s what it is I’m going with it’s not anything physical.
I’ve said before that Story left his best bat back in Colorado, and most likely his D isn’t as good as it once was either, but as little as Story has played the past three years how don’t see how anyone can put any realistic expectations out there. As with Yoshida his contract complicates things.
What quote do you want? Listen to the interview. To say no means you just don’t want the facts, and what was actually said, and how it was actually said. It’s ALL there.
After only 4 games you’re calling for Story to be DFA if he doesn’t pick things up? Wow! Might as well DFA Casas, and Raffy too. It’s just inconceivable to you, and others that Raffy is just all out of sync at the plate, and it just has to be he’s hurt.🙈
As I’ve stated many, many times, because I heard Cora in the interview. Simple as that. The interviews are All out there to go back, and listen to, so I’m just stating what Cora has said. That’s a Fact. It’s not something I make up.
It just amazes me that you can get all kinds of information straight from the horse’s mouth (Cora) who does interviews before, and after games on NESN, but choose to be left in the dark, and speculate on things that have already been explained in detail.
You always want a quote on an interview that Cora did. We’ve already went through all this when Cora explained all about how he was behind in his conditioning in an interview at the start of ST. He explained it all in that interview in great detail, but yet you guys keep speculating. He talked yesterday how he has talked to Raffy. If you watched you might possibly know more of what’s going on.
Raffy most likely is getting all kinds of advice, and probably more than he needs. Once again if you watched the pregame show yesterday you would have heard from Cora, and that he has talked with Raffy.
I think he’s just all out of whack from picking up bad habits when his shoulders were bothering him last year. All reports have said he has had no problems whatsoever with either shoulder since he has shown up at ST, and that’s what I’m going with until I hear different.
If you watched the pre, and post game show you’d get a lot of this info, and wouldn’t have to speculate all the time, and most likely get things wrong. What a novel idea that would be.
Why worry so much on what would, or could happen? Only 2 games of the season has been played. Things will take care of themselves when the situation arrives. Mayer could go down himself, which wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility. Anthony could too. Ponder that.
You can read anything you want into what Cora said YESTERDAY, but to me it was Very Clear, and direct. Once again it would be more than foolish IMO to put Raffy ANYWHERE in the field again, and yes that means 1B.
Cora made it Very Clear yesterday when asked if Raffy would fill in at 3B, and Cora said Raffy was the DH, and DH only. It would be more than foolish to have Raffy to fill in anywhere. If he was a bad 3B playing there everyday he most likely be even worse filling in. Once again Cora was very clear that Raffy would ONLY DH.
