    The first offer made to Bregman early in the offseason pissed Bregman off to begin with. Not believing Bregman had another offer came later as did refusing to give a no trade, and to much deferred money. It all added up, or didn’t add up whatever the case may be.

    To me the point that the Red Sox won more games after Devers left, and that the offense didn’t drop off much of anything, but that the Red Sox would have won more games, and they would have scored more runs if Devers would have stayed IMO, and not to mention once again that he could have made the difference in the postseason against the YANKEES.

    little Anthony was already called Roman Garoppolo a couple of weeks ago on one of the talk shows, and here he is hurt again.

    I think it affected Duran that he wasn’t in the lineup everyday, and now that he is he’s starting to come around. No excuses for Story, or Dubin though. Hopefully Story goes on one of his hot streaks sooner than later.

    I don’t make season predictions, or go with any worthless projections, so let me say this about that. I don’t think the Red Sox are as bad as they have shown so far.

    This was supposed to be the time that everyone has been waiting for, and anticipating for 3 years now when all I heard was the suspects are coming, the suspects are coming. Mayer, and little Anthony are here now. Teel got traded for Cro Man, and Casas has fallen by the wayside, but RAF Man is also here. If this doesn’t work, and it’s still early, but the team would be in serious trouble.🤔

    Duran is 3-27 the last 7 days. Roman Anthony is 6-26 with 3 of those hits coming in 1 game. 0 HR, and 1 gift RBI when the pitcher fell off the mound fielding his little tapper.
