As usual spot on Fred. Yes I remember when Raffy said everyone knows what this team needs at the trade deadline. I’m pretty sure there were many others thinking it, and probably even Cora, and yes there is no doubt IMO that it does have a psychological effect on the players just as it does the fans. 👍

It’s been explained more than once on here by more than one poster why the Red Sox had a lot better record after Devers was dealt than before, and that had to do with the run of very good starting pitching over an extended period of time by Crochet, Bello, and Gio, and most likely the record would have been even better if Devers was still on the team, and most likely also Devers would have made a difference if not a big difference against the Yankees in the postseason.

The Celtics have crapped their pants tonight, and and are gonzo from the postseason, the Bruins crapped their pants last night, and are gonzo from the postseason, and the Red Sox are still in last place. If the Red Sox don’t pick things up it’s going to be a long boring summer in Boston.🤮

Yes, but some leftover lumber has been in a slumber, and some of the arms like Crochet, and Ranger were knocked around a few games, which all added up to the not so good start.

Yes I believe SF in 2023, but Melvin got the job. Wasn’t Carrabis putting out there that he heard that Tek was the first one that the Three Stooges fired, and, then Cora, and the rest of the coaches went after?

I was just reporting what I actually heard Sean say. He also said that may change now that that Tek is not affiliated with Boston, or ends up somewhere with Cora again.

Bruins lost, and is done for the season. Celtics are on the brink tomorrow night. Boston could be in mourning come tomorrow night with only the last place Red Sox to look forward to.

One guy? Sean has been around many years, and is pretty well connected as is Cotillo who he works with, so I have no reason to believe he doesn’t know what he talking about.

Anything’s possible with the Red Sox, but I don’t think there would have been any idea to play Flintstone at 2B.

Seems like Masa is odd man out these days. Outside of that Chad’s lineup is not much different than Cora’s. Only 1 game, but Mayer’s sat against a LHP too.

No, but Bregman was PLAN A, so I guess LOW Bres did, and that’s why no other move was made to get another 2B/3B that so many on here wanted until Bregman signed with Chicago, and then then Red Sox went out, and got a Cheap DUBin.

As I’ve said many times DUBin was a cheap settle after losing out on Bregman, and then signing Ranger. They probably would have gone another way if they hadn’t planned on Bregman so much.
