  1. Yes it was the pitching of Cro Man, Gio, and Bello for long stretches that led to a lot better record after Raffy left, and not because Devers left. Most likely that record would have been better if Devers would have stayed, and it might have turned out differently against the Yankees in the postseason if Raffy’s bat would have been in the lineup. The Devers bashers just want to keep crying about how bad Devers was as a teammate, which they continue to do.
  2. 12-19. Who saw that coming? Anyway 7 GB, so the magic number is 69-62 just to get to 500. Starting pitching is starting to go down again, and there is still a lot of games left.
  3. Outside of Cro Man, and Gray on the injured list no reason.
  4. Minor league operation with a thrown together coaching staff. Laughing stock of MLB, and run by the 3 stooges?
  5. Luckily I went to Margarita’s for a Spider Cider, and did have to see Big Baby Bello crap his pants again.
  6. I was looking to see if with the change in Manager if Mayer would play against LHP. Apparently not, or at least for today.
  7. I’m not even arguing that little Anthony should even hit high up in the order at the present time let alone 1st, or 3rd. Anthony not hitting is a problem whether guys are hitting around him, or not.
  8. He has to get on base first. He did hit a HR against a non pitcher though.
  9. That’s the point that they all count March, and April included, and April is where we’re at.
  10. It looked like he wasn’t as sharp as he was his first game, his velo was down, and he ran out of gas. Good old eye test to me, and no math needed.
  11. Anthony back in the leadoff spot today with Duran on the bench. IKF, and Mon Man in with Mayer sitting against a LHP. Looks like a Cora lineup to me.
  12. Understood that if little Anthony starts hitting the team may win more games, but it’s not going still won’t erase the April losses waiting for him to get there.
  13. It seems going Geekie makes things look better than they really are.👍👍👍👏
  14. It seems more things are coming out. Supposedly bresLOW wanted to fire Fatse, and some of the other coaches last year, but Bregman talked him out of it, because they had helped Bregman.🤔
  15. I think you should say we meaning you who counted too much on Anthony, and yes it’s only May, and the losses keep mounting do they not? Anthony could hit a ton from May on, but it’s not going to erase all the losses in April, and all the losses that are piling up now is what’s most important at the moment.
  16. Good post. It’s very comforting to know that some have zero concerns about little Anthony, and statcast says he doing better than he is, but RIGHT NOW the Red Sox are piling up losses, and RIGHT NOW Anthony’s lack of production has a helping hand in that. All the early hype on him I don’t believe was, because he could draw some walks. I think most fans care more about relevant stats that actually shows up on the scoreboard, which lead to wins, and losses. Right now little Anthony looks completely lost out there. I watched Tony C come up at age 19, and produce, and produced even more at age 20. If Anthony is good enough, which I believe he is he’ll eventually get going, and if he’s not he won’t.
  17. The firing of Alex Cora by the Three Stooges is like crapping in your pants, and then changing your shirt. Best one I’ve heard so far.👏
  18. It cracks me up of all the excuses, and protection being thrown little Anthony’s way. Yes he’s only 21, and hasn’t set the league on fire yet, but that didn’t stop all the hype, and being anointed the next big thing before he did. He has 1 HR with 5 RBI one of which the pitcher fell off the mound trying to field a little grounder of his. Everyone expected so much more yes even at 21. His production, or lack of has helped the team to only have a 12-18 record. If he doesn’t pick it up soon maybe little Anthony needs to go visit KC down at Woo, or switch places with him. The early bandwagon counts just as much as any other time. He may turn out to be another Fred Lynn, but at the moment, which is all that counts at the moment he’s only little Anthony.
  19. 6 GB. 69-63 will get you to the magic 500 mark. If you can’t get there then playoffs? Did someone say playoffs?🤔
  20. Duran hit the ball hard last night, and was robbed with a great catch in LF, so I’d give at least another couple Of weeks.
  21. Agree on the stats. Raffy most likely would have put up much better stats if he would have stayed in a Red Sox uniform than what he’s put up in a SF uniform since he left IMO.
  22. Most likely any similar scenarios in is Boston days sooner than later will come out.
