    I agree getting Ranger was not a pivot from Bregman. Nice addition to the pitching staff, but not a 3B/2B, which is needed, or a power bat.

    4 OF, and 3 DH sounds like a problem to me not to mention no regular 3B, or 2B. I’m not counting on Mayer to be a regular at one of those positions either unless Cora bats him against LHP, and even then he’s still suspect to me.

    That’s why I keep asking why do the Red Sox have to settle. 11 different 2B 2 years ago, and countless guys at SS when Story was out, not to mention the parade through 1B.

    Words matter? Words have meaning? Yes they do, and I’ve heard many the last week, or so actually talking to people, listening to other sports venues, and reading on here. Botched, Bungled, Messed UP, Misread the room, and my favorite played GO FISH to name a few. What’s yours?🤫

    No one is disputing those facts. The question is what role did Brez have, or didn’t have in making them the facts, and has been the question all along to me.

    I think Betts was a whole different situation also. It was JH who made the call on how high they would go.

    Did Brez really think he was bidding against himself?🤔 If Brez was really betting against himself Bregman most likely would have signed with the Red Sox, and we would have hated the deal.

    That’s the beauty in all of this. You don’t have to believe anything you don’t want to, but that’s not going to stop anyone else, and nor is it going to stop any one else from coming to a different conclusion like JH is cheap.
