Fenway Park has a spacious RF? Wow! You think even the very very casual fan doesn’t know that? Nobody has said that Baseball is all about BA, but it helps to be able to hit the ball at least once in a while, and that leaves out Gallo. He sucks. Prediction? Jimmy The Greek you are not.
Notin likes RF who can’t hit 200 like JBJ, and Gallo who hasn’t hit 200 for 3 years in a row now. Schwarber could get away with it, but not Gallo. He sucks.
Where did it say I said anyone said Houck was a lock down closer? I ve been saying the Red Sox needs one since last off season, and there is none on the Red Sox roster at the moment.
I don’t think Houck can be a reliable anything, and I’ve been saying that for 2 years now. He has good flashes, but not enough to be reliable. I keep saying a reliable closer is not on the Red Sox roster at the moment.
As usual your feeling is wrong. AGAIN! Do I have to bring up the Cora issue again? Don’t try to interpret someone else’s interpretation when it didn’t need it it, and be wrong again, and again. Wash, rinse repeat. Say goodnight Dick.
Are you his spokesman? As usual you’ve added nothing to conversation that you wasn’t involved in even though you think you have. A gift that you think that you have it is not. Especially when you pull back the curtain.
He was kind of a last option, and he is no Koji who was a pretty much the same. Like I said it may be a safe bet to you, but not to me. Time will tell on who’s going to be right.
I don’t believe there is any kind of bet especially a safe one that they know who the closer is going to be, and if it was me it would be someone not on the roster at the moment. You may like Houck as the closer, but that is not something I would do.
Not only is a good bullpen a must, but having a good reliable closer also. This was a major failure of a bad failed plan by Bloom, and Cora that started the 2022 season down a losing path.
