Moon nobody was crying. Complaining yes. He’s had a pretty good year with Atlanta who was smart enough to see a need even though they already had a good BP, and went out, and did something about it.
Not wrong, but when Johnny did the simulcast on TV you kind of saw the real thing, and Johnny’s version. Imagine if Rambis had decked Mcchale. Then Tommy took over.. Gowdy, Martin, and Coleman were more straight shooters for the Sox.
REM Dawg was home grown, and one of a kind. Not so great in the beginning, but Ned Martin pulled him along, and he got better, and better especially with Donny O.
Ok we basically agree. I don’t care about the budget mainly, because of the high, high ticket prices. That may be a wrong way to look at it, but I’ve felt that way for years.
Who said spending $40M is no different from $60, or $90M who? Who is pretending there is no budget restrictions on Bloom who? Some just don’t care, and use that as an excuse the Red Sox are a losing team, and in last place in the Div.
Ok I understand that JH has a budget, but I just don’t worry about it. It’s not like he can’t afford to go over the lux tax, and that’s how I look at it, but I do get it man.
It’s the whole sum of the team that went to the postseason last year that Bloom tinkered with this year like JBJ for Renfroe, and not resigning Schwarber that made the team worse off, and not just how much Renfroe would have made a difference this year.
Agree 100%. I don’t like $300M+ contracts, but on the other hand I could care less if JH had to shell out $500M for payroll. I don’t know why some worry about JH money. I sure JH doesn’t worry when any fan shells out big money for a ticket.
And some on here were so worried that while he’s was worth $3M he would not be worth $7M, and he wouldn’t be able to duplicate, or come close to his numbers from last year. Also that JBJ would be better than he was last year. JBJ didn’t hit 160, but still sucked with the bat.
