Personally I think there are more important things to worry about then where Pivetta slots on a team coming off a losing last place in the Div team. Make him the opening day starter for all I care. He’s been there, and deserves it more than the rest if not for any other reason.

You keep saying how posters, or fans think. Out in Red Sox Nation do you honestly think more fans think like you do, or think like I do putting the boo birds aside?

I don’t read it like you do that Denny is blaming Bloom for losing Betts.

At least Dale has original analogies like Paul Winchell. You keep playing the same old broken records blaming, and excusing over, and over again. Very predictable like you are protecting Bloom’s honor, and image. It doesn’t work with the crybaby boo bird fans, but you keep playing it anyway.

As many times as you have tried, and will try blaming DD, and JH, and his limitations on Bloom, and the nonproductive farm system none of that has, or will make the Red Sox under Bloom a winning competitive team. Bloom has to do that on his own, and so far that has not been good enough, and I doubt it ever will.

Judge got $40M, because he had a record setting year. I can’t see Machado getting close to that who will be 32 in the 2024 season.

How much more can Machado get? Plus he’s older now.

The BIGGEST difference is that Theo, Ben, and DD were all winners. Theo had blunders, Ben had blunders, and DD had his share of blunders, but they ALL WON. Bloom has had his share of blunders, and he’s been a LOSER. Those are facts. No spins just facts.

It would have been great if DD could have locked up all 3 of Betts, Bogey, and Raffy early on, and it would have been cheaper too, but he didn’t, so we can say he failed, and I have no problem with that, but once again that takes nothing away from from what Bloom did, or didn’t do last off season, or the season before that when he could have locked Bogey, and Raffy up. They both failed, but the biggest difference is that DD has been a winner, and Bloom is not, or has not. D D had his own failures, and Bloom has his own too.

Why do the paying customers boo JH, and Bloom when they show their face in public? Do you have a clue? What does it say to you about those fans that have every right to do so? Do you think they are as not as good a fan as you are who bailed last year?

I’m not in to booing myself, but I sure loved Bloom, and JH getting it. Why do you think JH, and Bloom get boo boo’d when they are out in public? Fans have every right to do that, and that tells me something too, and I’m sure it’s not what it tells you, which is not great surprise.

Bogey hadn’t opted out yet, and yes Bloom was counting the other $60M. Wow!

We already know what was handed to Bloom, and we have heard by a broken record about a 5yr crop drought from the farm, but that still doesn’t change anything to what Bloom has done, or hasn’t done, and the WL record of the team. All the boos that JH, and Bloom have gotten should tell you something. It does me.

I was really surprised that Raffy signed after Mookie, and Bogey left, and that he didn’t take it to FA, but I haven’t changed any tune. I’m glad he was signed, but now let’s see if they can put players around him good enough to make a difference.

I don’t give Bloom any credit for signing Raffy, and Mayer. I believe Raffy was signed, because he was the last of the big 3 standing, and ended up costing more if he would have been signed earlier. Mayer was passed over by 3 other teams, and Bloom just took the so called BPA.
