  1. You still don’t get that Henry the guy with the checkbook, and the most important is still there, and he is the one that says yes, or no. Henry’s underlings doesn’t matter. The only thing different is Henry didn’t meet Bogey out in the parking lot like he did Lester. Maybe the parking lot attendant has changed. Does that count?
  2. No it is not, but when you call out legions of fans as crybabies, because they don’t think like you, and you think it’s, because of them the Red Sox didn’t do what you wanted them to do like a fire sale that speaks volumes, and it’s not the first time he has called out fans as crybabies either.
  3. Lester is not irrelevant, because JH is still the owner, and it was JH who met Lester out in the parking lot, and it is Still JH who writes the checks, so that being the case JH was, and STILL is the most important in the organization, and last I looked is still there. Bogey made the decision to resign with Boston before, and it will be Bogey’s decision again to stay, or leave Boston.
  4. Agree, or any other impactful player either. Hope you like leftovers.
  5. Correa is pretty good, but they also has a pretty good SS ready to take his place.
  6. You have your whack a doodle take, and I’ll keep mine. Past Red Sox history like with Lester to me is the same thing, so coming out with a low offer would not be any kind of surprise, and nor would it be any kind of surprise the Red Sox would say how bad they want to keep Bogey for PR purposes. I don’t think it has anything to do with if Bogey will change positions either, and to think the Red Sox would pay even more money for Correa, who has no ties, or tangibles to Boston like Bogey does to me is a pipe dream. Since I’m supposed to assume I know everything I’m sure all my assumptions are correct. The part that doesn’t make any sense is why would the Red Sox make an offer that low if they really wanted to keep Bogey in the first place? I think no I know Bogey’s reaction to the offer told most that the reported offer was true.
  7. Agree 100%, and especially future HOF.
  8. Ah the Crybaby Fans comment the gift that keeps on giving. We consider the source, and move along, because complaining about other fans, because they don’t want to give up sounds like being a crybaby to me. Cheese with that whine?
  9. And now the big question is if the Red Sox, and Raffy so far apart that they don’t think they can sign him do you trade him this off season? Trading now may be better for the team in the long run, but not good for the PR especially if Bogey leaves too.
  10. 3 future HOF.
  11. I haven’t heard anyone refute the low offer either. We have always differed on this, where you think Bogey should have come back with a counter offer, and my stance has been the offer was way to low to warrant a counter offer.
  12. Are the Red Sox going to outbid other teams for him?
  13. Is this a trick question? The answer is pretty obvious, and already answered.
  14. I would say this is mostly on JH, but I don’t know if Bloom was specifically told what offer to give Bogey last offseason. At any rate that sent a very bad message especially to Bogey.
  15. The fan base should have learned from the Lester situation, and also the lowball offer to Bogey last offseason to not get their hopes up.
  16. Probably like the kind of talks of offering Mookie $300M when they knew he wasn’t going to take it.
  17. Yes, and yes.
  18. Was they trying to play the market when they lowballed Bogey last offseason? Seems like Lester part II to me, and JH didn’t even meet Bogey out in the parking lot to say goodbye.
  19. If the reports were true that Abreu was the #1 target out there, and while I believe he would have helped the club from what they got on the roster now I think he should have been down on the list of needs, and certainly not #1, so who could be behind door #2. I just can’t see the Sox outbidding other teams for someone that will make a big impact on the team. Maybe fill a need, but not a big impact.
  20. I’ve heard of the PBA, but not about posters being paid by the Sox. Very interesting.
  21. And both sides will claim fowl.
  22. Wrong again, but that’s OK. What do you think came first posters being bothered by my criticism of Bloom, or me being bothered by Blooms supporters?
  23. Who said everything would be fixed? I’ll answer that for you. NO ONE! To me the BP is better when Whitlock is in it, and the BP is not as good when Whitlock is not in it.
  24. Wrong, and wrong again. I gave my solution to the BP problem before last season that a closer was needed, and named names on the possible solution. To start last season with the way the backend of the BP was was not good baseball planning. I’ve also said many times last year, and I’ll say it again this year that Whitlock should be in the pen.
  25. How shallow that is. Just, because I have followed talk radio since I can remember I form my own opinions from watching the games, and not what someone says on the radio, tv, or in the newspaper. Let me see this last losing season, and last in the Div finish did not take any one else to tell me the Sox sucked. If Mass, and Merloni were my sample size, and I can’t stand either one that would be pretty small, but anytime they are mentioned like Shaugnessy sirens go off, and the comments start. You aren’t saying you know more about baseball are you, because you seemed to be bothered y them pretty bad. You guys also hate the real good possibility that Bloom has more critics then supporters out there too, so I take solace that there are a lot more like me out there believe it, or not. It amuses me why this conversation with so many back, and fourth was started up again today, and for what purpose. I know one on here has bragged they have to get the last word in, and so be it, but in the end no one has changed their opinion, and no one is going too. You see things your way, and I see things my way about Bloom.
