Exactly. Prospect, or suspect only matters if they produce in a Red Sox uniform, or is traded for someone who does. I think I’ve heard that somewhere before.

With all the boos that Bloom got talking about his bet I don’t think many fans were buying what Bloom, and JH were cooking up.

Bloom gets blamed, because he’s supposedly the guy in charge, and is on his 4th year now. He gets blamed just like Theo did, and just like DD did when they screwed up. We know you can’t take it, but if Bloom can’t take it he shouldn’t have come to Boston in the first place, and face the bad Boston Media, and his critics everywhere else from his many admirers, or not from Red Sox Nation.

Either way it did not get done, and it was bad all the way around.

We don’t have to wait to see if Bloom botched the negotiation or not. What Bogey does from here on out doesn’t have anything to do with Bloom misreading the room in the first place. If Bogey sucks from here on out, which I don’t think he will do doesn’t, or won’t change the actual negotiation process.

Everyone knows all the ifs, ands, and buts to the situation, and that’s how everyone has formed their opinions, which aren’t changing.

We’ve heard you regurgitate this same response over, and over, and over again. It was a total failure from JH to Bloom no matter how many times you give the same response.

It depends how you look at the picture. The 4 titles are great, but all the last place finishes aren’t so great, and the what have you done for me lately crowd like watching ticket prices go up after a losing last place in the Div finish, and watching a fan favorite like Bogey not resigned a few years after letting Mookie go out the door, and you get the boos, and Jeers like JH, and company got at the little get together last week.

No on Price, and the Sox would have most likely won that title with Lester.

You, and I both don’t know what was out there, or what was the best we could get for Betts. I’m sure there was more out there than what was reported, and another, or a better GM could have gotten more. Let’s remember that the low grades were given out with the idea that Jeter was a prospect, but as we all know he turned out to be a failed suspect.

I sure all the pundits took that all under consideration, and know more than what you have speculated. You hang on to a D as a success.

Price was never a fit in Boston, and just a makeup for Lester, and agree he did suck.

Just go back, and look at any publication on the trade. This is old news now that has been gone over many many times. SI for 1 was a D.

Anybody why did all the pundits, and publications give Bloom such bad grades on the trade?

Totally disagree that this Was a good trade. Bloom was given mostly D’s, or failed from all the pundits, and publications at the time, and with Jeter being a failed SUSPECT I’m sure the grades would be even worse now.

Just another suspect like Jeter, and Franchy who went bad. Not all suspects are prospects let alone a ML.
