  1. Both with the bat, and on D too.
  2. He’s been busting his butt to 1B on ground balls to the IF too.
  3. The Red Sox had been on the back burner in Boston sports, but with the Bruins crapping their pants, and the Celtics losing tonight to Philly without Embied, and the NFL draft is over the Red Sox after tonight might move up.
  4. Imagine there was some talk on here of trading Dugy in the offseason, and that he couldn’t play RF at Fenway. Don’t hear any of that talk now.
  5. I don’t like Arroyo at SS either, but he was just starting to hit, and Cora benched him tonight for Kike who had only 1 hit against the starter.
  6. Kike is not a SS. He can play there, and make some plays, because he’s athletic, but he also going to make lots of errors.
  7. What a difference a year makes. Last year he didn’t look anything like a ML player.
  8. That’s one way to look at it, but more than not go to the highest bidder. Money talks to make them walk, but some do take a little less to stay at home. Judge was one, and Raffy was another. I would say Judge got a pretty good raise from what the Yankees offered him a year earlier, and I would say Bogey got a pretty healthy raise from that great offer the Red Sox had put out there.
  9. Wow!Why should there still be outrage? I said a couple of days ago that he looks like a completely different player, which is good for him, and good for the Red Sox. Now if he reverts back to the butterfly man he will get the same love as he did before.
  10. I get all that, and that had already been discussed, but after he saw what Bogey got, and he was worth more than Bogey I just thought he would play out the string like most do.
  11. Only surprised in that Raffy could have gotten more in FA.
  12. Plus Pivetta is the most reliable to show up for every turn.
  13. The Kut Man had a good stretch last year too in the rotation, but i wouldn’t make any change right now, and leave him in the pen.
  14. Maybe, but to send the Kut Man down just, because he has options, and keeping Bra Man would not be a way to go for me.
  15. I was wrong in not resigning Schwarber, because I thought they could get one more decent year out of JD, but I agree that this should have been the way to go.
  16. I can’t see the Kut Man being sent down. Him, and Wink have really solidified the front end of the pen.
  17. That’s why the Wall Mart greater Sam Kennedy said in the 2021 offseason the Red Sox were going to follow the same plan for 2022, but I do agree after all the feedback JH heard from the fans that he gave the go ahead for a signing, and Story Land was bought.
  18. I still surprised Raffy signed when he did, and didn’t at least see what FA had to offer. I think he left some money on the table.
  19. These next 4 games against Toronto will be a good test for the rotation starting with the Klu Man tonight.
  20. The encouraging thing about Sale is he did hit 97/98 yesterday on the gun.
  21. Nobody has turned it around yet until it happens again, and again, which hasn’t happened yet. Sale’s last good game was followed again by a bad game, so let’s see him put a few good games together before we say even it appears he’s done something. Same with Bello who will get a good test against Toronto.
  22. Losing the series after being up 3-1, and losing 2 of those in OT at home was embarrassing at the very least. Florida wanted it more, and they took it.
  23. A little bit of both along with the weather.
  24. Texas putting the wood to em today! Evol, and Martin Perez have shut them down the last two days too.
  25. Arroyo has found his stroke now!
