  1. I agree with most, but i don’t think he did that good a job on lessening all the expiring contracts that came due last year. He had 3 years to work on that, and except for trading Vaz he did pretty much nothing with them.
  2. That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you. Everyone fan is different, and some see it, and take it differently than you do. I’m very well aware that many see it differently from what I do, but like I’ve said it works for me.
  3. Yes Cora, and Bloom have more information to go on than we do, but just because one is a big league manager, and the other one is a HOBO of a big league club doesn’t always means they know more than you, or anyone else in every situation, nor are they right every time.
  4. There is, but I never said they don’t criticize Bloom too. I have heard you criticize Bloom several times. I’ve even given Bloom an atta boy a few times.
  5. I would not go into next year even thinking about counting on Chris Frail for the rotation.
  6. That sums it up pretty good.
  7. I’ll give you a Moon Speak of what you said about Cora. I don’t agree with what you say, but I don’t think you’re wrong.
  8. That 51% I believe would be a lot higher.
  9. You got that right! Those are from the many fans out there that are different from you, and don’t like watching a last place in the Div team for the most part since Bloom took over, and care what the standings say today, and not what they might be in 2028, and some of those who pay top dollar to watch in person, and whom has seen the Red Sox get broomed more than once this year. It’s really not that hard to understand why criticism, and boos come Bloom, and Henry’s way. You see things differently, and that is what’s right for you, while others see it differently, and that’s what’s right for them. What size Bloom Basher tee shirt do you want?
  10. Catcher interference?
  11. The ear test comes from the eye test as does the stats, and metrics.
  12. Sept call up most likely.
  13. Good analogy on Frankenstein.
  14. A bigger question is have they played good baseball the past two years. Defense, and base running has not been a Red Sox strength.
  15. All kinds of fans see, and care about many different things. Some just go to the games to watch their favorite teams, and favorite players, and some just go to get the Fenway experience itself. Some get very technical, and deep in all the stats, and payroll, and follow all the farm boys like you do, and some could care less about any of all of that, and just want the Red Sox to win, and the only care about the standings today. In other words one type of fan isn’t any better than the other, or worse a fan than the other. I’ve said many times when I get mocked about the eye test, and the stats that I look at is that those are all I need, and care about. What’s good for me might not be what’s best for you, and vice versa. As for what you call the constant, repetitive, and excessive criticism all I can say about that is that I have a friend who prints tee shirts, and the Bloom Basher tee shirts way out sell the I’m a Bloom supporter tee shirts, and he thanks you for that. As always it’s been a pleasure. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for some ND football. How about a hell yea.
  16. From what I’ve been told yes. I was told it was not good baseball.
  17. Ok we agree. You cry, and I’ll complain, and you’ll call me a basher when I CRITICIZE Bloom. Now I’ll admit I’ve turned into a bad baseball fan for not watching what i think is a watered down game, and product on the field, and from everything I have gathered these last 4 games against KC wasn’t any kind of baseball clinic. As for what do I care I do every thing I did before except watch the games, and care just as much as you did last year when you bailed on the team so fast when I stayed right to the end. I didn’t want no fire sale last year, and I didn’t want no sell off this year. As always it’s been a pleasure to converse with you.
  18. The lumber is in a slumber, so 3-1 ain’t bad, but those bats have got to get going sooner than later.
  19. How much of Duvall was early on, and Reyes hasn’t really played enough. Dugy had some bigs hits earlier in the season. Sometimes you have to use the eye test with the stats.
  20. Some have been saying for 2 years now to keep him in the pen. Not only is he better there, but 2021 is the only year he’s stayed healthy.
  21. Even though Raffy’s power numbers are good he’s had a number of long droughts too.
  22. Not enough big hits. Outside of JT who else would you want up there to get a big hit? I believe 9th in runs scored now when they were in top 5 for a long time. Way down the list in HR too. Stats can be very deceiving sometimes.
  23. I thought Story was supposed to play SS EOD?
  24. It sounds like he didn’t want to come back yet, but was talked into it. First he thought he might be ready for the start of the Toronto series, and then he didn’t. Then he was going to need more time, and then that changed again. He struck out a lot last year too.
  25. Sale started 3 games in the postseason that year, and only lasted 4 innings in two of them, with one being game 1 of the WS, so he was well rested.
