I expect Dugy to have a good full year this year with FA on the horizon. Getting rid of him, because he was nominated for a Gold Glove would be the last reason to get rid of him, and the most ridiculous.

I don’t know who doesn’t like defense, but it’s just worked out that way that the Red Sox haven’t been very good at it the last few years. Raffy, Casas, and Yoshida are bats, and no gloves, and Kike was a disaster at SS. I don’t know anyone who wants Dugy gone, because he was nominated for a Gold Glove. He’s on his last year of his contract, and his bat went to sleep the 2nd half of last year not to mention he was benched a couple of times. It’s always good if a team has guys who can hit, and field, but at the moment the Red Sox don’t have many of them. Of course you was one of the few who liked the JBJ trade, and how did that work out?

Whitlock hasn’t been the same pitcher since 2021 when he was strictly in the BP. He’s gotten hurt in the rotation, and hasn’t been the same pitcher back in the BP either. -
The Red Sox didn’t want Wacha back last year, and didn’t want to Sign ERod 2 years ago. I was for resigning ERod 2/yrs ago, but I wouldn’t give him the same 5 yr contract now being two years older. It’s amazing to me that ERod didn’t look so good two years ago, but looks better now.

The Winter Fan Fest isn’t that far off, and I don’t know if JH would make another appearance to get his standing ovation again if nothing significant is done. Bloom won’t be around to take some of the heat off him either.

Every team pretty much is looking for starting pitching, so that drives up the price. It’ll be interesting to see what Gray gets as he just turned 34. According to reports the deal could be finalized totay.

I’m not dialing anything back. What was fun was you trying to find some point in me talking about Theo when there wasn’t any point to begin with. Just a fun fact that I saw posted on NESN, but because I mentioned Brez you thought you had to over analyze, and find something negative about Brez.

Just, because they throw harder, and put more spin on the ball certainly don’t make them better pitches, so I’m not kidding myself at all. That’s my opinion, and I’m sticking to it. Pitches being less durable I will agree with.

Big deal I threw In Breslow afterwards just so someone like you could try to find something that wasn’t there. I’ve said all along that I don’t expect Brez to do anything big. To me there are just two big moves out there in the Yam Man, and the big O. The rest like Snell, Monty, and Gray would help the Red Sox, but these are just guys that, because they are FA will get over hyped, and over paid. It amazes me what is classified as good pitchers today.

20 yrs ago Theo was breaking bread with Schill at TG. I don’t think Brez was doing it with anyone this year.

Estime has most likely played his last game for ND. Lots of these guys who are going to be drafted sit out the Bowl games, so we’ll see.

Auburn Used ITDD (invitation to defeat defense), only rushing 2 on 4th, and 31 to BLOW game to Alabama. Teams will never learn. It’s named that for a reason. F’n ignorance at its best.

Yam Man’s agent says 11-14 teams have checked in on the Yam Man. That seems a little high, but who knows.

Like I said earlier these are just numbers. Kluber started out #1 in the rotation last year. That’s how much those numbers really matter.
