  1. Good pitching, HR’s, throwing the leather around, and a win at Tampa. Good game all the way around. Not to mention Raffy sets a Red Sox record on HR’s, and even he threw some leather around. Devers Forever for another day anyways.
  2. Went pretty well. 7 inning 5H shutout with 9 K’s.
  3. I wasn’t talking about being the closer, but 7-8 inning guy.
  4. I’ve been saying since 2021 that Whit should stay in the pen, and be a late inning guy, but I know others have a different opinion.
  5. We don’t know if Whit would continue to be healthier as a reliever, but we do know when he was a reliever is the Only year that he has stayed healthy. He got mostly 2-3 days between appearances also.
  6. I guess the $10M was that important. Great deal for the Braves though.
  7. Nobody wanted another extension for Sale, and why would they. Why are we Still hearing about the last extension for Sale is an Easy one. They are STILL paying on that bad extension. Duh. C’mon man.
  8. Yes, but I believe they signed him with the intention of making him a starter.
  9. I was OK with Whit, and mostly on Bello, but not so much on the RAF Man.
  10. Make believe again? That was Never going to happen.
  11. At the time the Red Sox signed Gio when no one else was knocking on his door I don’t believe Monty was into taking a short term deal, which only came about later on.
  12. I still can’t believe they shelled out $18M to Gio.
  13. Ain’t that the truth.
  14. WOW says the man behind the curtain. Pay no attention to him as the saying goes, and fits like a glove.
  15. As it’s turned out the starting pitching has been much better than anticipated, but it didn’t look that way when the deal was made. I guess I’m still hung up on that $17M the Red Sox are paying the Braves for Sale to pitch for them, which is pretty well at the moment.
  16. Didn’t Grissom have the first crack at SS after the Swan Man leave?
  17. You laying things out is make believe, and most likely nothing that Cora, and Brez would believe, or do, and it’s a long list.🤭🙈
  18. That seems to be a suggestion on here.
  19. It’s far from a certainty that Raffy will ever spend much time at 1B in a Red Sox uniform.
  20. You can’t count on Story Land to stay open at any position next year, or any year. Raffy will stay at 3B for the foreseeable future, and especially if NOshida, and Casas is still on the team. It’s definitely not a certainty that Raffy would be good at 1B anyways like some think on here.
  21. I can’t believe all the dumping on poor lovable Devers Forever. He is on a homer streak now, so some are giddy on here, but i wouldn’t compare him in anyway to Gus Grissom.
  22. I was fine when I first heard about the trade, but liked it less when I heard the Red Sox are still paying $17M to the Braves. Like you said it did save the Red Sox $10M.
  23. When Sale got traded to the Braves I posted that I thought Sale was going to stay healthy this year, and have a big year for the Braves, and Notin said I couldn’t say that, because I did say that when he was with the Red Sox. Talk about C’mon man.🤭🙈
  24. A reporter asked Cora after Friday’s game about slipping below 500, and Cora said they’d just win the next two game, and get back over 500. Well they didn’t win the next two games, and the Red Sox sit 1 game below 500 with a game in the loss column out of first place, and a game in the loss column out of last place, and continue the pattern of win some, lose some, win some, lose some, and most likely will continue to stay that way. Led by everyone’s hero Devers Forever or Never Devers the Red Sox scored 11 runs yesterday, and made the teams runs scored column look better then it really is, and some guys padded their stats yesterday too, and yes some didn’t like Grissom, and the RAF Man bringing up the rear. I applaud the die hards who watch every inning of every game, but I’m glad the good stuff will start up again with the C’s on Tuesday. Go C’s.
  25. Ah from the front runner that you are. Remember when you get giddy things usually turn s*****.🤮
