  1. Remember 10+ candidates made their search easier when they said thanks, but no thanks.
  2. I guess I’m as not all up in arms, because not much has been done transition wise, because i didn’t expect it in the first place. We don’t know for sure what the main reason was that Bloom got fired, but just, because he was and an exhausted search was done to replace him, and just, because Tom said full throttle didn’t mean to me all of a sudden the Red Sox were going to be big spenders again. I didn’t expect the Yam Man, Monty, or Snell in the rotation as it appears many did. It’s still not Mar 28th, and the season hasn’t even started yet, but most on here have written the Red Sox off already.
  3. They did draft Ball, and Groome, but neither worked out.
  4. Are those whispers you think you hear just in your head, because JH probably has earplugs in.
  5. Woe is me. Sham, sham, sham! Maybe the Red Sox should just sit out this year since most everyone has them dead, and buried anyway.
  6. I asked this question yesterday. How do you feel getting called out by Sam at Winter Weekend, and calling you a liar for not believing in ownership?
  7. Don’t mention the word opener. We saw way too much of that last year. Seems like the Bern Man was starting every other day.
  8. I guess The Kut Man will have to do a better job in the rotation, so that doesn’t happen.
  9. I believe Crawford only started in the rotation, because some of the other starters weren’t ready at the start of the season. As it turned out though he was definitely a better option than Kluber.
  10. True, and it just like when the Red Sox were counting on their injured starters coming back last year like they were going to pick up where they left off. It takes time, and buildup.
  11. From what’s been reported Crawford at the moment has been penciled into the rotation, and Wink, Whit, and Houck will battle for the 5th spot. No matter how it works out there are more than enough arms for the pen. I’ve been saying for 2 years that Whit, and Houck should stay in the pen unless needed, which will most likely will happen at some point.
  12. They have enough arms in the pen with, or without Crawford in it. Rotation is where they need the most help, and whomever out of Kut Man, Wink, Houck, and Whit should be in it. The value needs to be in the rotation.
  13. What did Sam do when Larry was around? Maybe he should go back to doing that.
  14. Well they have plenty of tryout candidates.
  15. The plan right now is for Bailey to fix all the starters they have now, so the rotation will be better.
  16. How did all you nonbelievers feel when Sam Kennedy called you all out, and called you liars if you didn’t believe that Red Sox ownership was committed to winning?🙈🤭👍👎
  17. Oh, that damm strength of schedule again. You said the schedule was going to be easier last year with less Div games. How did that work out. If it makes you feel better blaming strength of schedule then go for it, but t doesn’t get you any closer to a winning record, or anything else.
  18. I don’t think Red Sox fans care that much about what’s going on with the 29 other teams, at this point, and time. Other teams fans may be saying sham, sham, sham, but I don’t know who, or care. I’m not even coming c”ode to say things have to break right to win it all, but lots of things have to break right just to be a team with a winning record, and to get out of last place in the Div. Big, big difference. I don’t think there is any comparison either in what the Rangers have done the past few years to what the Red Sox have done. The Red Sox are cutting payroll, and the Rangers aren’t. I don’t think many Red Sox fans right now are clinging to the starting rotation as is as being anything that good.
  19. The only difference now from when last season ended is swapping Sale for Gio. Does Bello continue to improve? Do you get the bad Pivetta who got taken out of the rotation, or do you get the better Pivetta? Gio good, or bad? Lots of ifs as it stands now that could go either way.
  20. Bailey says there is talent in the projected starting rotation that the Red Sox have now, and he’s excited about it, so I guess the Red Sox don’t need Monty, or anyone else.
  21. I know that, and JH said himself that Larry ran the Red Sox, but JH signed the checks. Now he has a pretty tight grasp on that checkbook.
  22. That’s alright that’s not the only thing he’s been wrong about. He said the Red Sox couldn’t use an extra $17M to sign someone this year. Considering how the Sox are cutting payroll that’s pretty hard to figure, but he tried to do it.🙈🤭
  23. Here’s your sign. H I B E R N A T E! YOU’RE GREAT!👏
  24. You were at your best when you hibernated. It’s as simple as that.
  25. When JH bought the Red Sox it was all in on taking down the Evil Empire. Now it doesn’t even look like the Red Sox are in on getting out of last place in the Div. Doesn’t look like the same JH to me.
