  1. Of course it’s the truth, but like I keep saying if the Red Sox are good enough it shouldn’t matter. Go root for K.C. if you want to root for a weaker Div team otherwise enjoy the ride either up, or down the hill.
  2. When the suspects/prospects actually start producing in a Red Sox uniform, or are traded for someone who does is the time to get excited for me, and not until, because none of them are any sure thing.
  3. It’s been acknowledged since Div came into baseball, but it’s only brought up when the Red Sox aren’t doing well.
  4. Moon is in a different category all to himself, and I definitely don’t think how Moon goes how goes the Nation.
  5. Who said anything about all last place teams being equal? Who? If you can’t play with the big boys, and win against the big boy’s no matter what Div you are in, or what schedule you play then you are just not that good to begin with.
  6. Nobody is whining about it? Wow!
  7. No I’m chastising all the whiners, and cryers about playing in a tough Div, and the schedule. Wow!
  8. Here’s the thing. The Red Sox used to be one of the toughest ball clubs, and now they are not, and to blame what Div they play in, or the schedule for the fall is just ridiculous.
  9. Tough teams in Sept? You were all excited about the prospect of playing the Yankees, and Jays again, because the Red Sox had beat up on both earlier in the season.
  10. Yep the reason the Red Sox had a losing season again was because they were unlucky with the new schedule.
  11. Like I’ve repeatedly said the Red Sox have played in the same Div since Div came into baseball. This constant whining about having to play in the toughest Div is hilarious. If you want to root for a team in a weaker Div go root for K.C. They’ve spent some money this year, and said they’re going for the Div. Like I’ve repeatedly said too I’d rather play in the toughest Div than the weakest. It’s more exciting, and to see how good you really are. I don’t go for this woe is me toughest Div stuff.
  12. The Bear Claw game said it all.
  13. You preached about playing less Div games last year was supposedly was going to help the Red Sox have a better record last year, but as I pointed out at the time, because of the new schedule the Red Sox would also be playing more games against all the other tough teams, so it might not turn out as you think. As I keep pointing out also is that the Red Sox have played in the SAME division since divisions were brought in, and when they’ve been good enough they’ve won, and when they haven’t like the last two years they haven’t. I would rather play in the toughest Div than the weakest. Much more exciting to me.
  14. There have been all kinds of rumors of lots of guys have been shopped around. Masa, Story, Jansen, Martin, and who knows who else.
  15. I going for 84 wins this year, and they’ll be in it.
  16. I don’t mind the Red Sox got what looks like a good young player for Sale either. I just always have trouble to pay someone to not play for them even if it’s through an optout.
  17. Very simple. The Red Sox May have been waiting to get out from underneath Sales contract before they signed another SP to a big long term contract, so if they wasn’t still paying Sale $17M to pitch for the Braves they might have pounced on someone a year earlier. With what seems like the Red Sox are counting all their pennies, and cutting payroll it wound make more sense than not at least to most I have heard talk about it.
  18. Exactly, and mostly on here you would think that the trade deadline has already come, and were already out of it before the season even starts.🙈
  19. 🙈🤭🤮!
  20. 👍👍👍
  21. The FO hasn’t sold anything to anyone, but 84 wins is better than 78 wins, and a trip to the postseason is better than not getting there at all.
  22. I think at this point most Red Sox fans would take 84 wins, or even less if it meant getting into the postseason, and take their chances from there.
  23. No I can’t list all the names outside of Hazen, and Fuld added to the list. All I know there was a running count at the time, and the last I knew it got above 10. Why question the count?
  24. I don’t either, but it was a headline.
