  1. Here’s the thing. If somehow the Red Sox have a winning season, and somehow get into the postseason it will be full throttle again next year, because pulling all those levers worked.
  2. Nothing wrong with thinking, but your predictions are always wrong.
  3. Casa may produce all year, Story may actually stay healthy, and resemble something like he was in Colorado, Yoshida may produce all year, and yes even Raffy may have a better year. That’s a start, and yes even the D may even be better this year.
  4. Wasn’t yesterday’s discourse round 2 from a previous brew ha ha?
  5. I said that before the offseason even started that the only way to make the team better was to trade, because even with a new HOBO, and full throttle i didn’t see any big dollar FA signing. Now it looks like no big trades are going to be made either, so you have to go with what you got. It’s not like there is no talent at all on the team. Just like I thought the 2021 team would be better after the 2020 debacle, because there was still plenty of talent on the team that 2024 even as is may turn out better than most think.
  6. I didn’t know the game was played on paper, but I guess the 2024 season that hasn’t even started yet actually does.
  7. FSU was not left out of the college playoffs because of their easier schedule, but because Alabama, and Saban was a more attractive pick. FSU finished ahead in the AP, and the coaches poll. I don’t really care if the Red Sox are a better team than a team in a weaker Div with the same or similar record. It doesn’t get you anywhere. Like I keep saying I would rather play in the TOUGHEST Div in baseball than play in the weakest Div, and let the chips fall, which ever way.
  8. Not when it’s been about the 2024 season. I’ve been one of the more positive ones, and have repeatedly said let’s see what things look like on March 28.
  9. That’s always your standard response on topics. Talk about discrediting. You told me I couldn’t say that I think Sale is going to stay healthy this year, and have a good year for the Braves. Why was your reasoning? Because I called him Frail Sale when he was in Boston as did many other Red Sox fans.
  10. There has been whining on here for the last two months. Its like the 2024 season has already started, and It’s like the Red Sox already have a losing record, they are last in the Div, and calls are going out for a firesale.
  11. Of course it’s the truth, but like I keep saying if the Red Sox are good enough it shouldn’t matter. Go root for K.C. if you want to root for a weaker Div team otherwise enjoy the ride either up, or down the hill.
  12. When the suspects/prospects actually start producing in a Red Sox uniform, or are traded for someone who does is the time to get excited for me, and not until, because none of them are any sure thing.
  13. It’s been acknowledged since Div came into baseball, but it’s only brought up when the Red Sox aren’t doing well.
  14. Moon is in a different category all to himself, and I definitely don’t think how Moon goes how goes the Nation.
  15. Who said anything about all last place teams being equal? Who? If you can’t play with the big boys, and win against the big boy’s no matter what Div you are in, or what schedule you play then you are just not that good to begin with.
  16. Nobody is whining about it? Wow!
  17. No I’m chastising all the whiners, and cryers about playing in a tough Div, and the schedule. Wow!
  18. Here’s the thing. The Red Sox used to be one of the toughest ball clubs, and now they are not, and to blame what Div they play in, or the schedule for the fall is just ridiculous.
  19. Tough teams in Sept? You were all excited about the prospect of playing the Yankees, and Jays again, because the Red Sox had beat up on both earlier in the season.
  20. Yep the reason the Red Sox had a losing season again was because they were unlucky with the new schedule.
  21. Like I’ve repeatedly said the Red Sox have played in the same Div since Div came into baseball. This constant whining about having to play in the toughest Div is hilarious. If you want to root for a team in a weaker Div go root for K.C. They’ve spent some money this year, and said they’re going for the Div. Like I’ve repeatedly said too I’d rather play in the toughest Div than the weakest. It’s more exciting, and to see how good you really are. I don’t go for this woe is me toughest Div stuff.
  22. The Bear Claw game said it all.
  23. You preached about playing less Div games last year was supposedly was going to help the Red Sox have a better record last year, but as I pointed out at the time, because of the new schedule the Red Sox would also be playing more games against all the other tough teams, so it might not turn out as you think. As I keep pointing out also is that the Red Sox have played in the SAME division since divisions were brought in, and when they’ve been good enough they’ve won, and when they haven’t like the last two years they haven’t. I would rather play in the toughest Div than the weakest. Much more exciting to me.
  24. There have been all kinds of rumors of lots of guys have been shopped around. Masa, Story, Jansen, Martin, and who knows who else.
  25. I going for 84 wins this year, and they’ll be in it.
