  1. Yes cited, and Highlighted, but I see little value no matter who evaluates.
  2. True, and little Anthony put a little damper on that along with a few others.
  3. He missed valuable AB in Portland, and Woo, because of injuries.
  4. I’ve seen many prospects come up going back to Tony C at age 19 in 1964, and produce, so I just don’t get excited about the ones coming up today. As I always say a prospect is useless until they come up, and produce in a Red Sox uniform, or are traded for someone who does.
  5. I know lots of fans, and posters cling to rankings, and projections like they are the be all, know all, but sometimes they don’t turn out in the end all.
  6. Who thinks that? As I’ve said many times not all ranked suspects turn out to be good prospects.
  7. I was never a Devers Forevers guy like some were on here, but I still think not only would he be helping the Red Sox this year, but last year as well. He was missed in the postseason IMO.
  8. I’m going more on what Raffy did in the past in a Red Sox uniform and playing in Fenway. I think it’s more speculation on whatever you’re going on like wishful thinking.🤔
  9. They also need an LL to go along with him.
  10. I agree, but there was so much hype, and expectations put on Mayer, and Anthony just getting here, and especially on Anthony this year, so I agree that shouldn’t have happened.
  11. I understand, but what is currently happening is Breslow, and just being stuck with him is not a good situation to be in.
  12. IMO is not a fact. After a not so stellar start to the season he had settled in quite nicely as the DH. I saw, and see no reason that would change if Breslow would have left him alone. He loved playing in Boston, and it’s a whole different atmosphere in SF.
  13. Pretty much everyone said the Red Sox needed a 2B/3B in the offseason and Mayer would handle which ever one they didn’t get. I didn’t hear a lot of, but he’s only a 23 year old with only 300 MLB at bats. I did question his bat though.
  14. If Breslow isn’t going to be here long term do you want him making decisions now that affect this year, next year, or beyond?
  15. Like I keep saying if he had stayed in a Red Sox uniform he not only would be putting up better numbers now, but better numbers last year including the postseason season where he could have made a difference IMO.
  16. He was over hyped before he was even drafted. Now he’s just a platooning SS who gets pinched hit for.
  17. So both teams would be saying the same thing, and one of them would have to win.
  18. This is the second time in his last 4 appearances that Slaten has given up 4 runs in less than an inning.🤭
  19. The Red Sox had a chance to move up to Fred’s 4th place in the standings, but instead lost another series at home going back to 9 games UNDER for the season and a embarASSing 10-21 at Fenway. A rinky dink MICKEY MOUSE operation from JH on down.
  20. The Red Sox lost their best opener when they let the Bern Man go.🤔it not like BBB can’t pitch once you get him past the ist inning. He’s not a rookie, so I don’t know how going to Woo is going to help him from being a head case.
  21. 2 out of 3 ain’t bad, or is it? Which way will it go today?
  22. Same lineup as yesterday with the Great Gasper catching. Looks like he’s the new #1 catcher for the moment. Who saw that coming?🤔
