    Having a winning season, and getting into the postseason should be the goal of every team every year, and the Red Sox just accomplished that, but let’s not pop the champagne corks like the Red Sox did just for getting in. A pretty low bar was set after the 22-24 seasons. What the Red Sox just put on the field starting with NOman little Anthony was a pretty feeble attempt to go anymore than two games, which is what they did.

    Tracy, and bresLOW really distinguished themselves in this series which extinguished the season. NOchet shouldn’t have even of been on the playoff roster. Did he talk himself on to it. NOman little Anthony shouldn’t have been on the playoff roster. His feeble attempts in his two AB said it all. Did he look like he even wanted to swing a bat? Miller Time not once, but twice brought into a 1-0 game when he had no business being anywhere near those two situations. What did Tracy see in Miller the last two weeks that made him think Miller warranted those situations, and was a better option than leaving Gray, or the Toll Man in the game, or should I say what Geek, or nerd made that situation for him? The front page of the Globe said it best. From feeble chirps this brief attempt at the playoff run was DOWNRIGHT EMBARRASSING.

    Start spreading the news. The Red Sox lose Who was responsible for it. NEW YORK NEW YORK. The old saying of what payback is was doubled, and tripled, and then some for the Yankees. That sweep against the Yankees while so good at the time was a long, long time ago, which rings pretty hollow now.

    Dick Tracy was certainly a failure in these two games against the Yankees. What Geek, and Nerd told him his starting pitcher couldn’t last even 5 innings, and that Miller Time was his best option to bring in to a 1-0 game both nights, or to bring in NOchet who hadn’t pitched anywhere since April. He certainly didn’t look like an interim he looked like a little League manager, and as Mazz would say 1 dick move after another. Tracy was roasted, and toasted on the airwaves after the first Yankees game, and it will be even worse today. Well deserved, and warranted.🙈🤭🤮

    It was a once in a lifetime magic carpet ride going 32-5 in a very weak league. It was good while it lasted, but when it ended the team was just meh, and meh isn’t good enough in the postseason.

    Cro Man should have never been on the playoff roster to begin with, and Miller, and Cro Man should have never been brought into the situation they where brought into either night by Dick. Tracy.🙈🤭🤮

    A few years ago the buzz was about the big three. Teel got traded, and was replaced by Campbell who’s lavished down at Woo the last two years. Marshmallow Mayer pretty much sucked when he was on the field, which wasn’t often, and got traded, and all the hype built up for the so called Roman Empire has turned into little Anthony especially this year in his limited time on the field after getting Hurt doing that pinky swear with Mayer. The bumper crop farm from the farm hasn’t turned out like it was forecasted to be. Seems like someone on here warned about that happening.🤔

    Not the way it played out, but if it would have stayed a 1-0 game different moves most likely would’ve been made, and it might have played out different. Was Miller the right, or best option at that point in time? Rookie-inexperienced move by Tracy to me.

    At the time bringing Miller into a 1-0 game was not a sound move, or the best option at that time. Especially the way Miller had been pitching at the end of the season.

    I don’t think that, because 29 other teams missed out on Rice, and Schlit Man helps the present day situation any feel, or look any better. If the Red Sox would have finished with a better record than the Yankees they would be showing the Fenway faithful waving their shirts over their heads. Home field is well deserved.

    I agree, but the Red Sox missed out on two BIGGIES in Rice, and Schit Man who will taunt them for years.

    The Yankees had 1 less win this year in 1 less game played. Cole, and Rodon started the year on the IL, and Friedman spent time there as well. That’s not even mentioning all the time Stanton, and Judge missed too, so injuries are just part of the game, and many teams had injuries outside of the Red Sox. 🤔

    And what team doesn’t, which in these two cases was the Red Sox. Not turncoats whatsoever.

    A 7th round pick, and a 12th round pick. High picks like Mayer don’t always turn out, and sometimes guys like these two do.

    Talked about on the airwaves this morning just like last year on how a guy who pitched next door to Fenway ended up with the Yankees.🤫

    It’s always good when the Shlit Man dominates, and beats the Red Sox especially in the postseason. The guy literally pitched next door in college, and even betters he lets Red Sox fans hear about it.👏

    The whole league was weaker this year than ANY time in memory, and thus something like the once in a lifetime magic carpet ride of 32-5 happened. Outside of that that MEH! 😭😂🙈.

    $130M got you 8 wins, and a bunch of 5 innings starts, so I agree on Alonso. Suarez is here now though, so hopefully he can earn some of that contract in the postseason.

    I said before the last offseason started I would have signed both Alonso, and Flintstone, and I still stick by that today. Right now also I would rather have Alonso’s, Bregman’s, or a healthy Raffy’s bat going into New York for the postseason than what they have now.🤔

    Not bragging at all. Common sense , and stats tell the story. CON man has 199 HR in 11 seasons while Alonso has 307 HR in 8 seasons. CON man has 629 RBI in 11 seasons while Alonso has 825 RBI in 8 seasons. It’s not even close who’s a BETTER run producer. Play 30 more games wouldn’t make up the difference this year, or any other year. You guys can have the CON Man, but I’ll take Alonso.🙈
