  1. Throwing things against the wall again to see what sticks? You’ve gone from batting Raffy 4th to now leadoff.🤭
  2. At present time, and up to now, which is what counts Bregman has more HR than Raffy. Bregman has gotten on base a lot, but so has Raffy batting ahead of him, so I just don’t see the suggestion of not only separating them in the BO, but moving Raffy down to 4th where in the very least May get 1 less AB in a game.
  3. You, and your sample size. At the moment all I care about what’s going on Right Now, and what has happened so far in the season. Raffy, and Bregman have the most RBI not only on the team, but are up near the top in the league as well. That has been in the 2-3 spots in the batting order. Since Raffy, and Bregman have driven in the most runs once again from the 2&3 spots in the BO I doubt the 4th spot has had as many chances, or runners on base to do so, so unless you have numbers to prove otherwise you don’t have anything to support your suggestion. Also if Raffy batted 4th as you suggested who’s going to protect him in the BO?
  4. And a lot of the Men on for Bregman most likely has been Raffy. Every batting order is different, so to rely on studies, or science to make out a batting order is just robotic nonsense IMO.
  5. Which Red Sox batter has come up with the most runners on base this year? My bet is on Bregman batting in the 3 hole, so with your science, and studies you want to move Bregman up to the 2 slot, and then bypassing the 3 slot where all those runners have been occupying the bases you want Raffy to skip number 3, and move down to the 4 slot. Your science may work with some batting orders, but how the Red Sox OB numbers have worked out so far this year I don’t see how that would work as good as your studies, and science would indicate.
  6. In other words Geeks, and Nerds have taken over.
  7. Oh no! Sheldon Cooper for Cora’s replacement for manager.👏👏👏
  8. Yes, but it just took them 3 years to get there, and this year hasn’t played out yet to see if they can do it two years in a row.
  9. I’m certainly no big Cora fan, but maybe the Red Sox could get someone from the Big Bang Theory to be the manager. Science, Science, Science.🤭
  10. I don’t know what Casas turned down for an extension, but that decision right now looks better for the Red Sox, but bad for him.
  11. Trusting science, and the studies? How robotic that is. Once again Cora doesn’t agree with you. Is this another one of those I don’t agree with Cora, but I don’t think he’s wrong things?
  12. I don’t see any Red Sox OF being offered any long term extension anytime soon since it doesn’t appear Anthony is interested.
  13. I agree, and that contract extension gives Cora extra cushion, and a long leash with JH.
  14. Bottom line IMO Raffy, and Bregman aren’t the problem in the lineup, or where they are batting.
  15. Casas went down on May 2nd. There has been No urgency whatsoever to fix the problem at 1B just like in past years.
  16. I believe at this point in the season not only is Bregman 4th in the league in RBI as of yesterday, but he’s also near the top of chances with runners on base, but also near the top of leaving runners on base, and lots of times Raffy batting ahead of Bregman has been one of those runners. The Biggest problem in the lineup has been the black hole in the 4th slot.
  17. Do the Red Sox really have a plan for anything? Masa off in exile. Story taking up space, and payroll. Throwing things against the wall at see what sticks at 1B. Not to mention everyone’s favorite son’s chafing at the bit down at Woo, but No apparent place for them in Boston.
  18. Modern line-up philosophy🤮. Most important slot, 2nd most important slot🤮. Why do you think Cora is batting Raffy, and Bregman 2-3? Like I said before that Raffy is 2nd in the league, and Bregman is 4th in RBI. Right now in 2025. I could care less where Raffy hit better last year, or where he hit the most either. Once again Cora doesn’t agree with your tinkering. 🤭
  19. The 4th hole has really sucked, but Devers is 2nd in the league in RBI, and Bregman is 4th, so I wouldn’t move either one in the BO, and if Anthony got called up I definitely wouldn’t stick him in the 3rd spot to start with. I know you like to tinker, but Geez.🤭
  20. Whole different ballgame this year compared to last year. If a Story had been hurt this year to you think RAF Man would have been moved to SS, and yes the Red Sox most likely will keep your inferior Story at SS just like they did Bogey. You worry about D at SS, but Campbell wasn’t all that great at 2B, and who knows how good he would be a 1B just like Raffy. If I was going to worry about the D I would worry about all the positions, and not move a bunch of guys around out of position like Campbell moving to 1B. Moving Campbell around to me is just seeing if something by chance will stick.
  21. You’ve said all this a thousand times. Cora doesn’t agree.🙈🤭
  22. I don’t see Raf Man moving off CF, and I don’t see moving Story off SS.
