  1. Can Tracy keep Early out there for the 7th? I know the pitch count. There is no one in the pen I trust.
  2. We are three months into the season and not much has changed since my original post in this thread. We are tied with the Rockies with the least number of wins (32), and have the 2nd worst overall record. And the AL stinks as it has only 3 teams with a positive run differential (while only 10 of the leagues 30 teams have a plus run differential).
  3. I like Seigler too. Not sure why Rafaela and Abreu were calling him off on those pop ups. Rafaela called off both Seigler and Montesario and then dropped the ball (for an Edouble).
  4. Not sure why Eaton wasn't up before now. He was one of the best players we had in the last month last year. And he had to wait 3 months for the team to bring him up. Durbin stinks. Use him at 3rd.
  5. When Monasterio is our go to pinch hitter to try to tie the score you know we suck and have no intention on trying to win.
  6. I have no trust currently in Slaten. When he went to a 3-2 count with the bases loaded I closed my eyes.
  7. Hey! I live on the West Coast. Loving every minute of this game.
  8. Time to shop Narvaez. And the rest of the team.
  9. With the Red Sox 2nd to last in runs scored (the Padres have scored 2 less), averaging 4 a game, Early has to shut down the Rangers from here on out, down 0-1. We need hits and runs.
  10. There is a reason why Guerrero has bounced around and been out of the league several times. It's amazing how people are so blinded by triple digit fastball speeds. Just because he can throw it in the low 100's, doesn't mean he can pitch.
  11. Watson and Slaten stink. Our defense and relief pitching cost us once again.
  12. How about the A's Brent Rooker and Shane Langeliers? I'm sure Trout doesn't want to move because of his family.
  13. Slaten simply cannot be trusted in close games. Tracy is oblivious to this. Now we know why La Sorsa was traded.
  14. Bello should have been demoted before this. He's a 0.500 pitcher at best. He lacks grit
  15. Alonso will warm up. He could have been a terror in Fenway.
  16. As I said at the time, all of these extensions are completely unnecessary and only reward slothy performance, emotional emptiness and coddling "injuries" especially with the younger Gen Z players.
  17. Contreras is tied for 47th in total bases. He's a liability on defense (he's a catcher playing 1st).. Defensively he looks like Devers when he played third (but cheaper). I get grade inflation is a thing, but I still don't quite see a B and certainly not an A. I'll stick with a C for Rafaela. He's been a lot more patient at the plate (which have reduced his power numbers from last years free swinging ABs). The only A on the team is Chapman.
  18. SP: B+. Early, Tolle, Suarez, Gray RP: C- Chapman, Whitlock.... C: D- 1B: C+ 2B: F SS: F 3B: F LF: D CF: C RF: B DH: F Overall pitching B- Overall hitting D-
  19. Where did Breslow dig up Guerrero? He'd been out of the league for 7 years.
  20. We have no offense. No pitcher worries about this lineup (except our own).
  21. Looking at the easy fly ball that was dropped by Abreu, Rafaela raises his glove just as Abreu was making catch. I bet Abreu saw that in his peripheral vision and that caused the drop. Yikes, now Weissert.
