Seattle players probably looking at the Angels and thinking Stan Kroenke will be buying a new team for next year, so more competition. -
With roster expansion expected, which players are going to be brought up? Romy to platoon with Mickey while Willson out? Seigler? Eaton? Or will it be Sogard? Mead is playing catch, but still seems several weeks off.

Contreras and Abreu are swinging like they are a couple of drunks.

What's weird is that Abreu sucked hard all night (4 Ks) and essentially came close to grounding into a game ending double play and instead it's a walk off fielders choice (great hussle and slide by White) and it's Abreu who gets mobbed. They should have mobbed Eldridge (who should have stepped on the bag and thrown to short for the tag out).

Sandoval stinks. That was a ridiculously bad signing last year.

Rutschman's 1 for 14 isn't doing much (at least he's getting on base 5/18). He doesn't seem to be swinging with authority (as if he's still injured, his swing from the left side looks worse than the right side).

How is Sandoval still in this game? He should have been pulled in the 3rd inning. Has Tracy stopped coaching?

Contreras is having his best year now in his 11th season (highest OPS). He's 34+. He's never played 140 games (and he's 31 away from that). The dog days take a physical toll. The hammy will effect his swing. He's no Pete Alonso.

I don't get starting Miller for 1 inning. He hasn't started since 2024. He's become a legit closer. Why F around with that? Are they trying to boost and justify the Bello contract?

Other than Rutschman, Mead and maybe Crochet, I'm not sure if I would make any other changes. The team is playing well together. Story, IKF and Anthony can sit and heal for next year. I didn't even include Romy in this group. -
If Story, IKF, Rutschman, Mead, Anthony and Crochet all return, which 5 players do you send down?
