Cora should give Duran a normal batting helmet without the face guard. I think it's impeding his view of left handed pitchers.

For 5 of those 9 wins we had Yankee killer Devers in the lineup (he hit 3;homers in first 6 games). We also had Anthony for most of the 13 games. That said, our offense needs to step it up. -
I thought Cora said he would not take both Hamilton and Eaton. Assuming Anthony is out because he hasn't played in a month, there are not a lot of options on offense. Pitching wise we overstocked with lefties, so I'm guessing a righty.

Sorry, but there is little to nothing on Apple-, unless you have no memory and keep watching the same 10 things over and over. First season of Ted Lasso great. 2nd season jumped the shark. The rest of what's on is pretty much the same.

4 hits isn't going to get it done. The Blue Jay relievers got it done. Bello's ERA in September alone was 5.85. Cora should have pulled him after 5.

What do we expect from Harrison tonight? He's never pitched against Tampa before. Will he give us 5? The 3 scoreless innings he gave us 10 days ago against the A's are tough to analyze. Hopefully he gets it done.

9 games left and we have a 1 game advantage in the loss column over Cleveland for the last wild card slot. Seattle and Houston still have 3 games against each other with the Mariners ending up with 3 games at home against the Dodgers. -

At least if the game was on FOX you can get it over the air in most big cities. If on ESPN or TBS it's on a typical cable package. Early looked really poised. 11 strikeouts tying Don Aase for most by a rookie in debut. 5 scoreless. We traded Aase away the next year to the Angels for Jerry Remy.

I wonder if Davey Johnson applied those same mathematical principals 26 years ago when he allowed Chan Ho Park to stay in the 3rd inning to become the first pitcher to give up two grand slams in a game in the same inning to the same player (Fernando Tatis).
