Does our team teach sliding feet first (it's rather rhetorical because apparently they don't)? All the great base stealers knew how and would. Want to avoid injuries have these guys learn how.

Garcia is completely guessing. He is not watching the ball. He can get away with that in the minors, but not in the bigs. Pitchers are going to continue to throw curve balls low and outside. Not good.

Rafaela +142 to hit a homer in the 7th. What kind of odds is that?

Rafaela should be 2B (if at all). His OBP of 0.284 (just slightly higher than Hamiltons 0.278). That alone should get him sent down to the minors, if anything, just to reset. He needs to be more patient. For me, Duran is not a good defensive outfielder. At times he seems lost.

Right now I don't see where he fits in. His 0.228 AVG and 0.272 OBP makes him AAA capable. He has to improve on being more disciplined at the plate.

Roman has shown great plate discipline and a great eye. The 17 doubles in 200 ABs is very telling.

The guy I proposed to go get back in July, Nathaniel Lowe, walks and scores in his debut. The haters are likely bummed about that.

There is a reason why guys like Moran and Hicks were made available. They are not good. Narvaez, Toro, and Rafaela have been worn down by the 162. They've been terrible over the last two months. These dog days have killed ability to hit.

I swear everytime there is one of those stupid fanduel bets my thought is I want to be the house. +185 for Narvaez to get an RBI in one at bat with runner on 2nd. He gets an RBI every 10 plate appearances. +700 would be fair. +185 is robbery and for suckers.

When they are on the mound they are #1's.

Abreu is young (26) and good . He needs to play against left handers. What we like in Anthony (in limited plate appearances) is that he gets on base (OBP 0.392). His plate awareness is good, though he has yet to show power. In contrast Abreu is at least demonstrating power and hitting better against lefties this year than last. With Refsnyder hitting well, I see the platooning continue especially for the first 5 innings of games.

Make a trade with the A's and get Nick Kurtz. He's 22, and good.

Some how we had a somewhat decent pen, then we added Alcala and Hicks who Cora seems hell bent to put into these tight games only for them to show us why the teams traded them (as they suck). Maybe you put these guys into games that 10-0, but not in games within 5 runs. I don't have any trust in Campbell either.
