The overall current team simply cannot catch up to anybody fastball. Gonzalez remains an embarrassment -
Schlitter may have 20 K'ed the '27 Yankees but it doesn't excuse the very poor support of Early by Sox batters or fielders. The defense wasn't just 3 or 4 feet of bad luck, it was not sharp in a playoff game. The hitting speaks for itself and did for most of September. It's on the players. not Cora

The sad part tonight is that so called professional hitters cannot scratch out a run or two over 7 innings in a 4-0 game. Schlitter may be good but the Sox seem like they quit. They had him at 38 pitches after 2 innings and just now asswipebAbreu Ks on the 100th after a full 7. If Schlitter was throwing all strikes someone should have hit a couple, but Abreu needed rehab games

Cora says the defense didn't back up Early and make plays. Cora reminds me of Elton John in Tommy. Stands like a statue becomes part of the machine. Cora's veins flow ice water

When Yoshi slashes to LF/LC he is a very good OBP hitter. But with this group NO ONE can hit a ball out behind him. So many games in September the lack of hitters was noted. It is not just Anthony missing
