    What about that Hernandez kid. He looks like he'd be good at the back of a bullpen. And he may not start the year on the roster but if your bullpen sucks like most non-Boston fans foresee then he could be a good option.

    Hopefully this doesn't turn into what happened with Kahnle. Now he's back to throwing like he was in 2017 but he was a nonfactor last year after his preseason shoulder injury (I think it was tendinitis).

    Well I guess it depends what Mookie does this season. If he replicates his 2018 season, I can't see him taking a deal that's not at least comparable to Trout's.

    I don't trust the Yankees anymore when it comes to revealing injuries. They constantly play off every injury like it's a minor thing. Bird (ankle) - it was supposedly a bad bruise that would heal on its own but he needed surgery and wasted a whole season Judge (wrist) - Boone said they saw him coming back after a couple of weeks but he missed two months Hicks (back) - sore back that was supposedly nothing but now who the hell knows when he'll actually be back I hope Sevy will be back by early May but knowing their inability to evaluate injuries makes me believe it will be later.

    Lol 100% accurate? Based on what? And I guess Yankees stadium doesn't count as a MLB ballpark since there's no giant backboard covering 40% of the outfield.

He withheld that info out of self-preservation. But it's funny how he's trying to spin it.

    Sonny can say whatever he wants but everyone knows he just couldn't handle the pressure of pitching in NY. Did he only throw sliders at home? Is that why his home ERA was 6.98 compared to 3.17 on the road last season? Getdafugouttahea Sonny.

    I'm glad he finally signed so we can stop hearing about him. Sucks for him that he has to spend the next 13 years of his life in the city of Philly though.

    True, but I think he was referring more to Andujar's fitness and work ethic. The dude doesn't get any better at third but it's not from a lack of trying!

    Something will have gone terribly wrong if he does not make the ASG. Barring someone having a breakout season, the only other good catcher in the AL is Sal Perez, and he's coming off of a .713 OPS season.
