    Another site has following probable starting pitchers for this series. Tuesday Bryce Miller .343 ERA vs Bello Wednesday Emerson Hancock 12.71 ERA vs Newcomb 3.63 ERA Thursday Bryan Woo 3.12 vs Crochet 1.13 ERA

    Both teams are two games above .500. Tied for 5th playoff spot. We've leap-frogged the Blue Jays. We need 2 out of 3.

    If Casas can't hit in April, he might as get left behind down South. We're wasting his bat. We don't need his ceiling right now. We just need someone to come in and hit .700 ops. That should not be very difficult at 1B. HE IS RANKED 25 OUT OF 25 1B THAT QUALIFIES IN MLB.

    Who gets demoted tomorrow? Bello is starting. Newcomb is pitching Wednesday night so he stays. It just sucks the Fitts had to get hurt.

    As it turns out, signing Betts would have benefitted the Sox MORE than signing/extending Xander, Devers, Yoshida and Story. I would have preferred building the team around Betts. That's why it was critical to extend Crochet. I also believe Bello will get to #2/#3 type. Rafaela is very affordable even if we miss, we have enough young pieces to cover for him we made a mistake.

    In April, Justin Slaten has pitched 7 times, 7 innings and given up one hit, no walks. Looks like our closer to me.

    That's 3 straight decent outing by Walker Buehler after 2 shaky starts. As long as he can give us 90 pitches per start, I'm good with him.

    Refsnyder just needs to be in the line up. Mr. Cora....sometimes you have to screw the righty - lefty thing. Right handed batters are used to facing right handed pitchers. Lot more than lefty facing lefty pitchers.

    Don't we already have extra year's control? He needs 172 days.......12+31+30+31+31+30=165 days left in the season at most.......what do you know that I don't

    Rafaela extension was a good, calculated move. Really not much downside. He will always be an elite center fielder. I believe something will click offensively at some point. I am good with Dever's contract. He will always hit and now we don't have to worry about his defense. We have 4 years of team control left for Casas. Way, way too early to give up on the guy. He has enormous upside. I'm happy with Breslow.

    Substitute Anthony for Rafaela and this should be our strongest offensive lineup. Casas has to work his way out of his slow start. Same goes for Duran.

    Laugh all you want. This team needs to be engaged at all times. Win today and tomorrow means as much as ones in September. We have a seven game home stand and it's time we exert some control over weaker teams, which we have a four game set with.
