  1. Not necessarily given the way Walter, Murphy and Mata have been going so far this year…
  2. You do understand this team is winning right now, right?
  3. You have a better chance at being struck by lightening immediately after winning the lottery…
  4. I’ve repeatedly expressed that willingness to sign a one year deal was also a likely factor…
  5. And you’re sure that’s what happened?
  6. That and Kluber was likely the only one of the three to take a one year deal. Plus Eovaldi and Wacha quite often don’t have a healthy arm between them…
  7. Wacha: 127 IP, 1.5 fWAR Eovaldi: 109 IP, 1.0 fWAR Kluber: 164 IP, 3.0 fWAR Kluber was older, but that doesn’t mean you ignore the obvious and omnipresent injury problems from the other two pitchers…
  8. He’s been a K machine lately. You can’t run strike three…
  9. That home run traveled an estimated 260 feet and would not have been out of any park in MLB history accept the Polo Grounds…
  10. There can be no other reason…
  11. And becsuse Tapia was added to the Red Sox roster, he won’t be able to duplicate his embarrassment of Duran with another routine-fly-turned-inside-the-park-grand-slam…
  12. And that’s down from how many last year?
  13. Even though Kluber was better and healthier than both last season? Wacha threw 127 innings last year and it was the most he’d thrown since 2017. Kluber threw 164. Eovaldi considers the Injured List his summer home…
  14. You might think knuckleballers throw soft, but they throw 60-65 mph, which is still probably harder than any us can throw. And then the ball moving unpredictably to boot? Try catching a knuckleball first, and you’ll see how weird and scary just doing that is. The ball just darts anywhere, seemingly freezes in place for a fraction of a second, then darts off in another random direction. All the time moving faster than you realize…
  15. Was this true in December?
  16. He may also get non-tendered after the season…
  17. This team can’t be good!! They never replaced Renfroe’s RBIs!!!
  18. Joe Musgrove isn’t good? He had one bad outing this year…
  19. Maybe he went blind in May?
  20. Did the eye test notice Casas has an OPS of .900 since May 3?
  21. Number 6 was Ceddane Rafaela, who suddenly dropped down a little bit on the Need to Have list once Duran learned how to play baseball. If the Sox make a big move, Rafaela is probably most likely to go…
  22. Per BTV, they are 1. Mayer 2. Whitlock 3. Bello 4. Bleis 5. Casas
  23. Still might be before Mondesi…
  24. Jason Heyward on the 2016 Cubs…
  25. Well, Kluber did pitch 164 IP last year, and had better peripherals than Wacha and Eovaldi. Bloom simply gambled he could provide innings and upside. I have no idea if he provides leadership or not…
