    Just the stork trying to cause trouble. Binelas just turned 22 in May and in his first full year of pro ball (he played 3 years of college ball through 2021). Stork’s a little closer to the truth on Hamilton, who will turn 25 at the end of this season. He played college ball at Texas, and is in his 3rd year of pro ball. Developmentally, we have to remember, there was no 2020 minor league season. Stork was just doing what he normally does, cause trouble. He is best ignored.

    Soto as a player is better; Soto is also a punk who is very lucky he’s playing in this era, because his antics would have gotten himself face planted by the likes of Gibson or Pedro.

    I think he is hurt. Not bad enough to sit, but enough that his swing is off. He just doesn’t look right up there.

    Again, though, it’s not like he was getting hit hard. Think about the inning: the intentional walk is a call from the bench. Line out to right. Chapman’s hard hit double. Tapia taps a soft grounder in a good spot for run 6. Downs makes a bad play on the throw home on another soft hit ball for run 7. Downs blows a DP that should have ended the inning. Sawamura misses 1st base for run 8. Then the DP to end the inning. Just line in the 1st, the actual pitching was better than the results.
