  1. Dumb play by Renfroe. He had no shot at Kiermeier.
  2. No problem with Cora’s move here. Brasier done the job so far. He may not have it tonight, but the move is totally defensible.
  3. Kudos, because you said what you would have done without hindsight. I like that.
  4. Two lefties that inning. Worst case is Cash hits for Meadows, who is their leading RBI guy.
  5. Using McClanahsn here could be a break for the Sox if this goes to a 5th game.
  6. So was that 17 pitches to get Meadows and 2 to get the next 2 guys?
  7. Maybe not, but it assured he won’t.
  8. This AB will cost ERod an inning.
  9. Seems to be the Rays version of Brett Gardner; a PITA against the Sox. Not nearly as unlikeable though.
  10. The Renfroe catch may well have changed his mindset. More than anyone this year, he’s been victimized by poor defense behind him. Not necessarily errors, but plays that could be made.
  11. Yep. Rules are if you are replaced on the roster due to injury during a postseason series, you are out for the remainder of that one and also the next series.
  12. Dziękuję Ci I remember the name, but that's about it.
  13. Good one with "make your day".
  14. Sort of reminded me of Tony Clark’s GRD in Game 5 of the 2004 ALCS; that one climbed up the right field wall and into the stands, costing the Yankees an easy run.
  15. Thank God he didn’t snare it when he tried to grab it after it bounced off him.
  16. Yep. This just seems like the kind of game the Rays have been winning all year. It’s classic Ezra innings though, everyone is trying to end it with one swing instead of just getting on base.
  17. Is it he or Plawecki who wins the tortoise award?
  18. No, and they won’t. I’m just amazed he’s seeing anything but fastballs up.
  19. If he got it fair, it was a base hit. Then he came up with a better base hit.
  20. For all intents and purposes, he is.
  21. That was an amazing stat. Sox defensive efficiency on the season is 21 points worse than the next lowest team.
  22. Sort of lunged at the pitch which and except for a hobbled JD, by far the slowest guy on the team.
  23. Okay, 2 innings over. You may resume normal commentary (i.e. your normal stuff, both positive and negative).
  24. A fastball up should get him; why won’t they throw it? Edit - finally
