  1. We might put Casas or Sandoval on the 60. Can we start the 60 day clock on March 1st?
  2. When did I say Sale was not an injury risk? I liked the trade.
  3. Cause chicks dig the zoom-ins on his muscles.
  4. Luckily, the Sox have a policy of only one at a time.
  5. It's like an addicted gambler who has lost five $1000 dollar bets in a row, so he bets $5,000 on the next bet, figuring he's "due."
  6. When you total up all the contracts, it's enough to sign ______. 21 Buehler 10 x 4 Kluber, Richards, Paxton & Hendricks $61M on pitchers in the last 5 years, alone. (Story was signed for $140M.) It's over $200M.
  7. The Sandoval recovery should be the last straw on these types of signings. We are up to something like Oh for ten, now. Sandoval, Hendriks, Paxton plus injury history guys like Buehler, Kluber, Richards... Name one injury-prone guy we've signed in the last 10 years who put up one good season. Stop this experiment!
  8. Perhaps no other team relies so much on one guy.
  9. Soxprospects.com has Crawford, Casas & Romy beginning the season on the IL.
  10. He's got options, so he's got a good shot at the AAA roster.
  11. Matt Thaiss has an upward mobility clause that kicks in 5 days before opening day. If we add him to the roster by then he gets $1.3M. He could also be traded by that date. Kyle Keller has a similar clause that kicks in on April 15th. Vinny Capra has an opt-out June 1st and Jason Delay on June 30th and again on August 15th.
  12. Hunter Greene out until at least July- bone chips removed from elbow. Remember some talk about trying to trade for him?
  13. I agree, and the .500 OPS in 2025 might be a bit of an outlier, too. He had a .670 OPS before 2024, and maybe .650 to .675 is his final resting spot, if not DFA or demotion.
  14. It's wild how Wong is now the second most senior member of the Sox 40 Man Roster. (Houck is #1.) Only 4 players on the 40, were on the 40 back during the 2021 season: Houck, Wong, Whitlock and Duran (added in July '21.) Five more were added by the end of the 2022 season: Crawford, Bello, Story, Kelly & Casas. This does not mean he has been in the Sox system longer than everyone else, but just 40 Man seniority. He has one option remaining, according to soxprospects.com.
  15. These are often gambles. You hit and miss. If KC won rookie of the year, we'd be calling the signing "genius."
  16. Thank you. It's bigger than the ST'ing one.
  17. He is having a decent ST'ing, but this is a tiny sample size and he was not very often facing MLB pitching.
  18. He actually did better in his last 14 games with the Sox in 2025 (.739) than he is doing in ST'ing 2026 and the end of his 2025 farm season. The longer he goes, the more worried I get, but I still am optimistic about his chances.
  19. Yup. Ideally neither gets a look-see.
  20. Brez is a genius! We found our big bat!
  21. I do feel like Masa is more of a known than Casas, but it seems closer, to me. Casas has better numbers and IMO, more upside (and maybe downside, too.)
