  1. May I ask what trade you are referring to?
  2. No, the funny thing is you think you know what other's motivations are, and you can't even understand the meanings of their posts, words and even punctuation marks. Try to first understand the meanings of words before moving on to guessing the motivation behind the words. It's not even close to "punishment." If anything, I feel like I'm doing you, me and the board a favor by trying to avoid the tit for tat with clowns.
  3. Too funny. You seem against my lastwordism as a form of voicing my opinion.
  4. The bottom line to me, and it looks like most GMs is that Skubal is a rental. He'll demand a king's ransom this winter, so it's good bye or pay up. There is not even comp pick, if he bolts. For the Sox, it was likely 2 months of Skubal for 5 years of control for 2-4 prospects/players. each.
  5. I shoulda left him and Red on ignore. Maybe I felt winning would change things. Nope.
  6. The here and now was here and now for Cedddanne in 2025, too. Fred said Ceddanne sucked in 2025, and yes, I couldn't and didn't let it go unquestioned. Not sure why you choose to side with Fred on this, but it seems like anyone against me is your friend, at least for that moment.
  7. Rays get Peralta. Apparently, the Sox offered prospects for de la Cruz, but Cincy wanted MLB players.
  8. I think the Tigers did the right thing. This is the best they could get. The Dodgers furthered their building a juggernaut on paper, but it's good thing the game is played on the field.
  9. It's not a personal attack to call it absurd to say a 3.8 fWAR and 4.9 bWAR season sucks. Saying it's trolling is personal, but you admitted you take delight in it, so was it really an attack?
  10. The guy is hurt too much and is not the same guy as the 2022-2023 catcher. 2022-2023 1157 PAs .808 OPS (129 OPS+) and 33 HRs (20 per 162) 9.1 dWAR 2024-2026 1287 PAs .711 OPS (103 OPS+) and 36 HRs (19 per 162) 5.5 dWAR
  11. Exactly. This trade was about what most expected it would take- maybe slightly less than some thought. It's hard to equate to what the Sox would have had to give up, but for a rental, I wouldn't have tried to match or beat the Dodger offer. The upside for LAD, is that they will likely extend him, whereas we probably would not have.
  12. You and Fred are two peas in a pod. When exposed, you divert from the issue and attack the poster. Where is the evidence to support that "Rafaela sucked in 2025." By rallying to Fred's side just to jab at me, are you supporting his point or just whining about moonslav, because you "can't help yourself?"
  13. Yes, let's look at Story vs Goodman: Goodman: Career: .852 & 40 HRs Home and .768 & 38 Hrs Away 25-26: .869 & 28 HRs and .854 & 34 HRs Away As he's matured, he's hit more dingers AWAY. He's K'd 33% Away and 27% at home- both very concerning numbers. Story: Career w COL: .972 & 95 HRs HOME and .752 & 63 HRs AWAY '19-'21 w COL: .973 & 40 HRs HOME and .752 & 30 HRsAWAY They both K way too much, but the Home & Away splits are night and day apart.
  14. I could be wrong, but I think Hope was the central return piece for Skubal- not Ryan.
  15. It hasn't flipped Fred to buyer mode, although he's stopped the sell talk.
  16. You don't balance bash. You are kidding yourself. You whine about Rafaela every chance you get and since batters fail much more than they succeed, you whine about 75% of Ceddanne's ABs. That's much more than I do in my lifetime.
  17. The Monasterio and Seigler additions were bonuses nobody saw coming. Funny how after a good game by DHam, the talk was about how we suck at getting the most out of our infielders. Durbin's start to 2026 was a bit surprising, but it was just his second year, so many of us felt maybe we just mis-valued him before the trade. We'd heard the same about pitching after the Priester, Harrison & Drohan trades, too. It's funny how evaluations work out. Many were not too excited when we traded for Harrison and Priester, then acted like Brez was an idiot when he trade them away. Everybody hated the Dustin May trade, and now we see him doing pretty well for the Cards. Anyone complaining about letting him "get away?" LMAO. (Anyone want him back?) Do we blame Brez for not resigning May? Nope. We still have a poster calling Brez "BresLOW" and the "1 2th pick." Maybe he'll name his next bowling team "Twelfth Pick." It's hard for some to show respect after a long spell of disrespecting a guy and position.
  18. Jojo was left his home in El Cajon, California for some Ridge Yak grass
