    Yes, 90 out of 162 last year and I see 67 games played in 2026. The O's have played 111 games. 157/273 is 58%. If he keeps up that rate, this trade will suck. Only a ring with his help would change that, for me.

    I'm trying real hard and taking a deep breath. This seems like a massive overpay, despite knowing that you have to give to get. One year and 2 months, assuming Rut comes back from the IL quickly for Eyanson and Narvaez seemed steep but maybe okay. Adding Azocar & Witherspoon seems like overkill. Maybe after sleeping on it, I'll come around to a middle ground, but right now I'm not liking this.

    Yes, I was making that point about D May maybe not being all that bad- he just whiffed with us over 1-2 months, but seriously, he was a big step below Ryan, and the two packages show that.

    Liam Hicks ended up traded. The O's got him for Brayen Taylor, Adrian Santana & Jacob Kisting. Detmers to Cubs. R Ray to Padres. Bubic to Dodgers.

    If it's just Eyanson, that's a steep price, as it is. Eyanson and Narvaez would make some sense, but I hope it's no more than those two. Rut better get healthy quick or he's gonna learn what the Sox Nation wrath can feel like.

    We may give Tolle a few starts off to limit his IP. but shutting him down totally is risky. Do we demote him to make roster space. Bennett is about the same. Is the plan to demote him and Tolle for 10 days each to get is near the Sept call-up date?
