  1. I'm not making excuses for him. Read my previous posts. Not having all the facts, I'm just going to give him the benefit of the doubt before saying that he has no integrity. I am sure that he was aware of what was going on, whatever it was. It does not look good.
  2. If you take away Shaw's errors, it's 3-0.
  3. The Sox should have been out of that inning with 0 runs. Instead, they gave up 5.
  4. I don't know why we can't beat these teams that are playing so poorly coming into their series against us. Frustrating.
  5. Hey Mich, do you know we have a game thread? Not trying to be snarky - sincere question.
  6. #BringBackPablo
  7. He really is.
  8. Clay should be out of the rotation now. That was his last chance. Hopefully O'Sullivan will do a decent job tomorrow, then Wilkerson takes the #5 spot when we need one. Farrell said today that Kelly was going to the pen.
  9. Not to excuse Clay's performance so far because it has not been good, but our offense is looking rather futile against another pitcher with a 5+ ERA. I can't believe we have not scored a run yet.
  10. We don't have all the details, so we really don't know what is going on. Maybe the Sox are being made an example of. Maybe not. Your words regarding Cherington's integrity are a little harsh though, not having all the facts.
  11. My bad, but I did not see his name on the 40 man at Sox Prospects.
  12. Come on offense, pick up your pitcher! Let's get a rally going!
  13. I'm trying. It's the best I can do.
  14. The Sox are 3rd behind the Marlins and the Cubs.
  15. I have faith in Clay to not let them score anymore runs. We need our offense to get it going right now. This guy is a bum.
  16. Positive Clay Mojo! Come on offense, score some stinking runs! You should be smacking this guy around.
  17. I don't really disagree with any of this, but I'm also thinking that if your coach/manager tells you to throw the knuckleball, you throw the knuckleball. I'm not necessarily saying that that was the right call, though I think it was, but a player should do what his manager tells him to do.
  18. Thinking about this earlier, it seems that by stating this to the press, Farrell was attempting to pass the blame from himself to Wright. That is not like Farrell, and it's not a very wise thing for a manager to do. He may be feeling a lot more heat than we are aware of.
  19. I believe it will be O'Sullivan for Sunday's start.
  20. I agree that we need starting pitching help, but my contention all along is that we don't need to sell the farm to acquire a #1/2 pitcher. We need a solid #3/4 guy, which should be doable.
  21. In general, I have never really had any problems with the pace of the game. I don't like it when a pitcher takes forever in between pitches when they get runners on base, and I don't like all of the commercial breaks during pitching changes at the end of the game. But I can live with both.

    The Cubs

Ha! The Cubbies are afraid of no one.
  23. I'm sure there will be more coming out about this, but as of now, it seems to be the reason.
  24. Please try to control your excitement over this. This is not a good thing for the Sox.
