  1. Even since he stiffened up?
  2. Catch phrases like "Closer by Committee" and "Bridge Year" are certain death.
  3. Sure, give him a shot.
  4. And yet, ironically perhaps, our self-proclaimed ball doctor Richards has been pitching well lately.
  5. And they were so good for a while there. Crazy freakin' game.
  6. Dump the troll please.
  7. We have a 3 game series in Seattle in September.
  8. They have 37 games left. They've won 10 in a row. They're 27-9 since the ASB. But do they have momentum?
  9. He was saved to some degree last year, a little like Price in 2018. Kershaw started Game 4 of the NLCS and lost, putting the Dodgers down 3-1 to the Braves. But they rallied and then Kershaw pitched 2 good games in the WS.
  10. I'd say you explained it about as well as possible.
  11. This is the part that doesn't really make sense.
  12. STORK = Single A Troll.
  13. This thread was started on August 8, 9 days after the deadline, so obviously it was going to be at least 10 days.
  14. We're playing worse since the deadline, is what I meant. And the Yankees added some guys too, obviously.
  15. You are Mr. Re-do LOL
  16. The groin didn't seem to keep him out much longer than projected though.
  17. And our team is the same as the one that was in first place at the trade deadline...except it isn't playing like the same team.
  18. Even crazier. Sox won first 9 and Yankees won next 9. They 'only' played 18 that year.
  19. Personally I'm seeing some annoying parallels between this team and the 2009 Yankees. Including the results against us.
  20. Boy does that look random. Look at Marwin!
  21. The numbers don't lie. Raffi is not the MVP. His defense has been too spotty.
  22. Very good chance of it, I'd say.
  23. Schwarber's bat was a fine pickup, but the defensive machinations to get him in the lineup have not worked well at all.
