I also thought it was extremely strange that Girardi didn't have all his best relievers lined up for this one after winning the 3 previous games 11-3, 6-1 and 6-1. I'm shocked about that, frankly.
Here's a question that's related: if we do sign JD Martinez this offseason, where does he play? Do we try to convert him to first base, or do we trade JBJ and move Mookie to center?
I must say Bogaerts' body language looked really good last night. He looked amped. Maybe he's finally feeling 100% health-wise again. We could really use some production from him.
