    Harper's defensive numbers are bad just as they were last year. It's kind of embarrassing when you look on the Phillies' B-R page and Harper isn't even there because he's not one of the Top 10 in WAR. Machado is at least a defensive plus.

    How can an athlete who OPS'd over .800 from July to October of last year be this bad? Because generally speaking, hitting major league pitching is really freaking hard. And JBJ is obviously a guy who constantly struggles with his mechanics.

    Hembree has pitched 4 perfect innings over his last 5 outings. There's a reason he's still with the team. He's one of those guys who is generally mediocre but can sometimes be very good.
