  1. Pointing out that Buchholz f***ing sucks/gets injured every f***ing year and they should have had a backup plan for the inevitable is not whining. What you are doing about Price three months into his contract is whining. Pot, meet kettle.
  2. Rushing Benintendi's timeline to fill a short-term need is anything but reasonable.
  3. Sure, but if it quacks like a duck, and acts like a duck.
  4. Among others actually.
  5. It's not that they "didn't get to take" Buchholz. It's that they chose Miley over him. The context is different.
  6. I can easily look up a post from not even a month ago where you agreed with the notion that the pitchers involved were Miley-Buch, but the Mariners chose Miley. Saying otherwise now is flip flopping.
  7. I thoroughly dislike the Golden State Warriors basketball establishment. So yes, I am indeed in a heightened state of anger and agitation, brethren.
  8. De La Rosa's underlying peripherals are terrible. He curiosly has a reverse split too. His ERA is like 7 runs higher outside of Coors.
  9. This comment explains quite clearly to the rest of us that you did, in fact, play with barbies.
  10. Kind of a flip-flopper aren't you?
  11. If they wanted Buchholz, he would realistically be with the M's right now.
  12. TBSB, you're either not as smart as you think, or terrible a trolling. Either way, stick to your day job.
  13. That's not what I'm hinting at though. I'm confirming that, at the very least, the M's didn't want him.
  14. And it was reported widely (we've had this discussion before) that the Mariners were offered one of Miley/Buchholz in the deal. They chose Miley.
  15. Why do you always make those stupid statements? Stick to the discussion without being a douchey smartass. Leave the sass to the ladies.
  16. Cameron is a great baseball writer and analytics expert, but he's A) Not a talent evaluator, B ) Doesn't have a more enlightened idea regarding Benintendi's ETA than any of us do, because projected timelines are just that: Projections. He's had just a couple AA at-bats. Pump the brakes on the Benintendi train.
  17. Why does Farrell keep using Kimbrel stupidly? Why?
  18. You are spouting nonsense. One article isn't the be-all and end-all of baseball analysis.
  19. Dat fred reference.
  20. Stop making dumb excuses. The ump was bad, full stop.
  21. It would be! I bungled that up pretty good.
  22. Dropping 21 to the Angels, and spotting 4-spots to the other team in the first inning several other times 06/10-07/1? Not really.
  23. Exactly the point. As I told Hugh before, they're just your opinions. I just don't see it. From all indications, having Vasquez be the primary catcher was the plan all along. Then again, that's just my opinion.
  24. Vasquez was the starting catcher, he gets injured. Swihart gets pressed into duty and struggles defensively. Vasquez comes back from surgery, and Swihart is clearly not ready defensively at the most important position in the diamond. What were they supposed to do?
  25. Pedroia could hit 1.000/1.000/1.000 with a HR every AB and this team still wouldn't win consistently with the pitching problems it has.
