  2. He pitched 8 IP/3 ER with 10K's against the Rangers before the outing against the Rays, 8 IP/3 ER against Baltimore in their last meeting, and 7 IP/2 ER, 6.1 IP/2 ER against Toronto in their last two meetings.
  3. I want to take this post out to dinner and then introduce it to my parents.
  4. It doesn't gloss over anything. No matter how good, a half-season is a half-season.
  5. Y'all need to Pokemon Go and chill.
  6. What part of "they wanted to sign him but couldn't assure him of a rotation spot" don't you understand bro? They wanted him back, but they (thought) we had seven viable starters.

  16. ^This is a good point.
  17. If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck. The conclusion that they had a choice and chose Miley is almost, without doubt, the correct one.
  18. An astute poster understands that we're not privy to insider business information on anything regarding MLB dealings. Our discussions are almost always based on most, if not pure, speculation.
  19. Improving the rest of the roster does not preclude them from acquiring pitching.
  20. He's not being lazy. You are just a jackass.
  21. Then let's not discuss anything that isn't undeniable fact and we have all of the available information.
  22. Improving the team is improving the team. If pitching is not available (Sox brass can't simply wave a magic wand and force other teams to give up pitching), or the planned pitching move is of a larger scale, why should that preclude them from making other improvements? That makes zero sense.
  23. That's what they call me while I'm shoulder pressing heavy at my local exercise establishment.
