    Just got back to my hotel. Wrigley is a special place. Felt so surreal getting off the subway, turning the corner and finally seeing the Marquee in person after all these years. Then the walk up the concourse to get my first look of the field. Singing Go Cubs Go like I've lived in Chicago my entire life. Will never forget this night. Have a ticket for tomorrow but might skip. I'm content with my experience.

    Sometimes I also feel like those of you that don't live in Boston or in New England either forget or don't realize how ruthless the media would be and how quickly attendance would drop if we sold everything at the deadline. Boston teams don't tank or rebuild. Part of the job description when you take a GM job in this city

    I personally expect him to leave, but I don't think it's a done deal yet. There have been a few things that have happened over the last few months that have led me to believe he might stay, or is at least thinking about it

    Just landed at O'Hare. Not a great look today, but that's just because I wasn't there. We'll win the next 2! Sox are yet to lose in 2022 when I am in attendance

    I can vouch for the weakness of Oakland's lineup. I went to the Tuesday night game when they were at Fenway a couple of weeks ago. Vogt went 1-1 with a HR and 2 walks, but everybody else looked like they didn't know what they were supposed to be doing up there

    We face both Gausman and Menoah in this series, two guys that have had our number for years. Good news is that at least Pivetta goes up again Menoah. Hopefully we can find ways to win those games

    There's no way you can say what you just said in a manner that is NOT complaining. You're allowed to enjoy life you know, contrary to what so many people might try to tell us these days. It's a shame you feel that way about me. If you were to meet me in real life, you would probably find that I am quite the opposite. Oh well. Not going to let the opinion of a stranger impact my world
