  1. I would go with the traditional blue with red B.
  2. That's okay with me as long as he does not aggravate the shoulder hitting, running, and sliding.
  3. I've seen Pablow play a bunch this spring ( all on TV ). He looks REALLY good. His lateral movement, his swing from the left, and even his base running. All have looked as good as I have ever seen him.
  4. You can watch almost any MLB game for free on the internet. https://www.mlbstream.me/
  5. Prepared well I can imagine crow tasting good. Or at least passable. It's just a bird.
  6. The humidity / moisture makes gripping the ball a challenge for Wright. That is what is being commented on, not how atmospheric conditions affect the flight of the ball. At least that is what I heard last season when he had difficulty.
  7. You be da mang behind the curtain at least.
  8. I have wanted to move on from Buch for over two years. But this year I would have been inclined to keep him because this team just does not have many good options at 6, 7, 8. I guess the Sox brass felt otherwise.
  9. Oye. Now we can all sit back and get the lecture about how disruptive base runners are not really much of a factor.
  10. No. Kimbrel's ginger beard is wild and incomplete. Not so with MVP. He is more Smith Brothers than Kimbrel.
  11. Thank you Marcus. Order has been restored to the baseball world.
  12. Yikes! I hope that is not the case but from what we have seen so far it is a strong possibility. I guess that means Bradley will never be clutch!
  13. Still at some point we should want to see better consistency at the plate from Bradley. He is smart and physically gifted. I see no reason why he should not become better more of the time at the plate. When will this happen? So yeah, I'm a little concerned. Especially with a rookie playing left field. Don't get me wrong. I expect both players to have good years. However, the possibility exists that both may have rough periods that coincide. That would suck big time.
  14. Excellent post.
  15. I have no malice for Buch. He drove me nuts much of the time. Other times I was wicked excited to see him take the mound. The times when he had wipe-out stuff including that insane 12-6 hook. I wish him well in Philly.
  16. Pedroia in a spot with Millar just said that ST is good for getting timing back. I would add that players need to practice their skills as well.
  17. I don't understand how any objective observer could conclude anything else. The Sox botched this one big time. Sign a guy to double his current salary after 3 years of offensive decline??????? Dumb.
  18. I felt exactly as you did Moon. I would have been okay with just Hanley at 3rd.
  19. From the moment the Sox signed Pablow I viewed him as a mistake.
  20. Yes you did. We never heard the end of it. People here can have a memory of convenience.
  21. Many people on this site over state Swi's defensive deficiencies. You also over state the significance of Vasqueze's defensive ability. He better than Swi at the moment but it means jack s*** if he hits .200-.230. Oh well. Good thing this offense is so strong without Ortiz!!!!!
  22. He is a turd with a damaged and weak arm. I expect nothing from him this season other than frustration and disappointment. QUOTE=moonslav59;1051124]Is Pom the next Buch? I suggested this near the end of last season but you and others objected. Buch had runs of effectiveness and even dominance. This guy is more like Henry Owens with a blip of success on his record. Good thing we have so much starter depth!
  23. Pom is a soft tosser and a pussy with a questionable arm. He will get "pulled" a lot early in the season and will amount to jack-s*** for the Sox this season. You can quote me and eventually agree with me if you are too blind to see it now. "Oh, but it's only spring training." Yeah. Just like the second half last year when he pretty much sucked ass. Go ahead and post all the cherry picked data you wish. He blows goats.
