    I guess it's love him or hate him. I love him. He has enhanced my Red Sox experience multi-fold. Yeah, his corny stuff with Don could get tiresome. However I always liked having their dialog in the background in my home. Even if I was not actually watching the TV hearing their voices comforted me. Remy has had a rocky road in recent years. I am not one to assume that his life went sour because of him being a dick or a bad parent. There seems to be little evidence of that so spare me your anti-Remy speech. I know OB is very good and he has grown on me somewhat. I just miss the days of Don and Jerry doing the games. It was like being with two friends while watching the game. When we finally lose Remy it will be a completely different game experience. I guess that I am just an Old Bastard stuck in my ways. I miss Johnny Most, Gil and Gino too.

    The trouble with that is cable providers bundle s*** together so If I want NESN so I am able to watch the Sox I have to sign on for a bunch of s*** I don't want and pay a heftier premium to do so. What a racket.

    I heard Farrell talk today. It seems that Wright and Pom are still working their way back from injury. Could the Sox be short of starting pitching to start the season? Will we lament trading Buch?

    Add to that the fact that pitchers f*** up intentional ball a lot. Kind of like the yips in a way. WP or PB. It happens. There is just enough opportunity for a mistake to make this play eventful or dramatic. This will not speed the game up. We see how many IBB in an average game? It's negligible.

    While I don't disagree with what you just said I do not understand why you feel so strongly about him. He is probably a AAAA player. So what? At least he is not on a $70+ mil contract.

    I remember this conversation. Ted is recalling it as it was, I believe. I said quite clearly that Pablow was a fat f*** or whatever and I said that I meant it as an insult. By the way, I just read an article written Thursday by Pete Abraham that said the Sox are anxious for Pablow to be back in the lineup because he is so clutch. It seems that The Sox believe in clutch.

    You ain't just a rooster poopin'. The Pats are done. I watch the Celts but the NBA is an abomination Old School basketball junkies like me. I don't do NHL much anymore since the second expansion. I need a fix to quell my baseball jones soon.

    Yeah I like you Moon and you add a lot to this board. But sometimes I too have some difficulty understanding what point you are making. I'm not taking sides here. Just being fair, I hope. How about we not get up into each others faces over silly issues like Clutch and Choke? Save the venom for Yankee fans ( Doc excluded ).
