    Yeah can we send him down to Pawtucket too? I firmly believe that all of our problems can be solved by sending them down to Pawtucket.

    I feel like Doubront takes his job for granted sometimes.

    With the way we used our bullpen yesterday hopefully Doubront can get us more than 5 innings this time.

    Peacock is tied (albeit in a 9 way tie) for 5th in the Majors in home runs given up with 6. Bedard and Clemens are in a 19 way tie for 14th with 5 HR's served up. I only mention this list because Alfredo Aceves is part of that tie with Peacock, and in 2nd place is old friend Josh Beckett, who has given up 8 taters to the tune of 0-3 with a 4.75 ERA.

    If it wasn't in Miami I'd be all over that too. f*** a baseball game at that point.

    Not only that but you can probably steal good seats, it's not like you have to compete with the other 100 or so people there.

    For real though I feel like Doubront and Dempster's records should be switched based on their ERA's and run support, but with our offense a low to mid 4's ERA should be successful. Especially the way our offense has been going to work on Houston thus far. We can't lose the series at this point so if we win one of the next two games we should be fine. Nothing beats a sweep though.

    That should have been much more but I still feel good about a 4 run lead going into the 9th against Houston.

    At least this double wasn't leadoff.

    At least we have the heart of our order up and only 6 outs left.

    I wish we didn't have to use our Japanese pitchers to clean this all up but it looks like we don't have too much of a choice.

    If he didn't pitch yesterday I'd have given him a shot with a 4 run lead.

    Not a great start to the inning but we're still up 4, just gotta get outs at this point.

    Zimmerman also had a 1 hit (1 walk) shutout of Cincinnati with only 91 pitches.

    And it was against the Braves too which is a good offense.

    Dempster should at least be able to get us 6. Considering only Miller and Bard were used yesterday that should be fine.

    At least the run came via sac fly so we're closer to ending the inning. Still up by 3.

    As well as we're doing, the game still isn't Miller proof so we don't need to be handing over runs and we can certainly use to score some more.
