  1. Technically we'd only score 32 as the home team batting 8 innings, unless we gave up at least that many runs for force a 9th. I guess if we had Aceves/Wright/Miller anything is possible.
  2. I was gonna say, has there been a game where the comments here haven't been ripping on the umps strikezone?
  3. In all fairness I don't think we smiled in his 2 years in Boston either.
  4. ....not said by Suns.
  5. Did you get the message back? Did it work?
  6. Jags could use 1 or 2 of everything.
  7. Cleveland does seem to have a pretty decent offense at times for what it's worth.
  8. Haha and I'll bring a steak to neutralize your dog's wrath.
  9. lol RSFFL your posts read like you're trying to convince yourself not to stab someone.
  10. And Norris has been a mediocre (maybe slightly better) starter for his career, he's just their ace as he's always had good strikeout numbers. I've always been a big fan of Bedard (like Guthrie) for some reason. I wish him well but I def want the Sox to win. Since Bedard is transitioning from beginning the season in the bullpen, and the other starters can be pretty crappy, we should be able to tee off on their bullpen. Then again hopefully the players aren't as cocky as we are. And hopefully the bottom of our order can at least take some pitches before getting out or do something to keep the lineup moving.
  11. I guess if we lose then everyone can blame me. I did not receive your PM, so I sent you one with which you can respond to.
  12. I only know of 2 posters that I can guess you'd want to ignore and I was able to successfully ignore them. What I do is type in their username slowly and wait for the website to pull it up, then click on that name. And make sure to save changes when you're done. If that still doesn't work, send me a private message of the posters you wish to ignore and I'll try and help you from there.
  13. Best of luck. Wish you well.
  14. I thought Wright got sent down to bring Bard up.
  15. I'm pretty sure he faced us immediately after the perfect game. And he went 5 innings and gave up 9ER.
  16. Youk of the Nation, and any other user with a darker/bold username is a moderator. Yeszir is the king. (Sorry a700) To use the ignore feature, click "User CP" at the top left, then on the left about halfway down go to "edit ignore list" and then type in the user which you wish to ignore. And save. Honestly, I think you should try it for a day or two to cool off.
  17. If you use the ignore feature, it will collapse their posts and you won't see it unless someone (who you aren't ignoring) quotes them. While I think the ignore system is pretty weak, I honestly think it will help you Fred. I can't defend certain shots that certain posters make, I'm guilty of my fair share of arguments with other posters here. Hell the one time I got banned it was because I was fighting the one person who's on your side.
  18. There we go!!! Two out of three against Oakland and now we have Houston on deck.
  19. I feel like with Middlebrooks in Fenway middle-in is perfect. But yeah I'd almost rather Middlebrooks leave his bat in the dugout so the pitcher has to throw at least 3 pitches to get him out.
  20. I'd leave 3B open and have Carp be our 4th OF at that point.
  21. Agreed, it's hard to find a better closer at ANY price.
  22. If only we could have sent him down with JBJ. He's not worthy of MLB at bats at this point.
