Doubtful. After two seasons of OPS above 830 and being fully healthier and younger, he only got a two year deal before ‘21. Now, he’s had two straight seasons of being injured, one of which was fairly unproductive offensively.
I had initially written Wells down, but deleted him because he fit better as a Red Sox than the others. Since Wells had already played for 2 AL East teams, it wasn't that surprising to see him elsewhere.
Abreu looked good the last time we saw him. We know Rafaela can play defense if we want to hold our nose and just stick him in CF. Duran is still a bit of a mystery as his career has been all over the place.
They all only got a few innings here and there. I was trying to find guys that got starts out of position. Vaz had a GS at 2B under DD, but none under Bloom.
Bader is Refsnyder if he could play above average CF defense rather than garbage defense. I guess you just platoon him with Duran?
Trade Verdugo and Refsnyder to free up spots for Bader and Duvall? IDK.
We'll see how much faith they have in Rafaela and Abreu.
Thanks to Bloom we got to witness:
Arroyo in RF
Franchy at 1B
Dalbec at SS
Kiké as the fulltime SS disasterpiece
Duvall as the fulltime injury prone CF
Old Man Turner at 2B
Schwarber at 1B in the playoffs
Chavis in LF
It shows that he thinks on a much higher level than others and may have tendency to talk above others. Just because he fixed that one situation doesn't mean there isn't more to learn IMO.

Corey Rosier went 2-for-5 with a double (4) and a stolen base (8) in last night's 9-5 Glendale Desert Dog victory. The 24-year-old outfielder has slashed .303/.391/.382 over 87 PA in this year's Arizona Fall League. He is #44 on the #SP60.
Throwback type player.
