  1. I'll see what I can do to sweeten the pot. Let me talk to Mr Henry. @JonHeyman Update: Hearing now Yankees are front runners for notin.
  2. The only one left is Wavy Gravy, but the last time I saw him was when he was doing an event for the Ben & Jerry's on Haight & Ashbury. Sellout!!!
  3. He was walking in the Haight and tried the purple bud. Really bad experience.
  4. Crag is probably unable to interact with the general public due to his 200 IQ; Henry due to his agoraphobia.
  5. Not to worry. Crag has revamped the pitching program and their emergency starter in AAA is now Max Castillo!
  6. On Imanaga: @JonHeyman Update: Hearing now Giants also looking elsewhere so they are not one of the 5 finalists. They were considered the favorites as of last night?
  7. Wrong! He signed Criswell to light up the radar gun too. AVG Exit Velo: 87th percentile!
  8. Sorry moon, but you were working on this as your catch phrase: You should have stuck with it. I think I made a comment that just doesn't ring true anymore I guess!
  9. Has Duvall even been linked to the Sox? I heard Turner hasn't been contacted by the Sox this offseason.
  10. For a true ace pitcher, the price is always worth it.
  11. Turner was good, but he only had 1.2 fWAR last year. I think one of the younger guys can do better than that. Overall, Duvall had a 116 wRC+, but most of the work was done in MAR/APR (93 after he came off IL). Story's wRC+ should be better than last year's 48 or overall team's 68 at SS.
  12. How kind. Is this where I offer you an MiLB deal and we meet in the middle with a NRI?
  13. -6 DRS in 250ish innings at 1B. Can't play there. -13 DRS in 1900ish innings in OF. Why the f*** did CLE put him in CF?
  14. Or just give up on the idea of bringing either in. Use that money on the rotation.
  15. At least get a guy that can stick in the rotation though. Cabrera was all over the place last year.
  16. They have told a few FA's that they need to clear $$$ before signing the next few guys and floated Masa, Jansen and Story. If you sit back and think about it, this is what a team would do if they were doing a fire sale and punting.
  17. Heyman is unreliable for sure.
  18. As many others have said, it's been an absolute s*** show for baseball reporting this offseason. Nobody seems to have a clue.
  19. Heyman says "very much in play." Maybe just trying to drive bidding up on the true buyers.
  20. Bleis is too far away and coming off an injury plagued season. His trade value is low as all get out right now. Mayer's value is about as strong as it will get unless he really mashes this year and marches towards MLB. At that point, Sox would be silly to trade him.
  21. Pitchers aren't willing to pitch for ass or grass anymore.
  22. There is some sort of budget. 200M? Crag needs to figure out how to pay 26 guys an average of 7.5M. Should be doable.
  23. Yes, it works for one of the greatest players in the league.
  24. You can "get by" but it's not going to get you to do much in the playoffs IMO. On paper, this team could be better than last year just because we could expect an increase in performance as younger players can get better. IDK. I think I said last season was 84 win, this feels like 81-81 at the moment. They need another arm to get them to 84 win territory.
