Tatis has a very reasonable contract. I don't know why SD would move him. I know they want to cut salary, but he's not the guy they should move.

Rosier has 12 games played in AAA. Why would you count him?

He was diagnosed with AFB back in 2011. It really hasn't held him back considerably.

And you need 2 Catchers anyway? I don't see any reason not to pair Garver and Teel unless you see more value in pairing Teel and Wong. However, Wong's skills behind the plate are mainly based on his arm and Teel already has that part down. What's he going to learn from Wong there?

Verdugo is proven to be an average (at best) OFer. Duran and Rafaela both have ceilings that are far higher than that. I'm not sure Abreu is that much of a drop off from Verdugo that you would substantially miss him.

I just think DH is a better fit for Masa. He was a fulltime DH in Japan and he'll be less likely to wear down there in '24. When he was playing well, Masa was a force.

I would trade him so that you could get something useful back like a starting 2B or as part of a package for a SP.

His ISO from the past two seasons is .068 which is pretty close to Ozzie Smith's career rate. He's got Ozzie's bat with below average defense. Going back years ago and projecting him to regain nonexistent power is a fool's errand. Pass on that loser.
